For too long, bureaucracy kept seven child care centers across our city empty — spaces that should have been alive with laughter instead collected dust. We've run through that red tape. This fall, all seven will open their doors, bringing free 3-K to an additional 240 three-year-olds and real relief to working families.

Everyone is looking at big cities in Africa like Kigali, Cairo Lagos etc … but few are paying attention to Gulu City in Northern Uganda For many, Gulu city is just another town in Northern Uganda. But for me it is a city of resilience, untapped potential, and the future of innovation in Uganda. Gulu has gone through challenges that shaped its people into some of the most hardworking and determined individuals you will ever meet . Today, something is changing within the city of Gulu that the whole world should pay attention too. 1. Young people are rising in varies sector like @gender_uganda, @Her_Worth_fndn,@LoremiTours , @RolemodelFoundation, @faceofgulucity that shows that the future is great in Gulu City 2. Businesses are growing day in and day out . People who have visited Gulu can totally witness this in the comments section 3. Technology is slowly finding its way in. With the presence of @GuluVarsity offering many courses in computer science, Robotics, Information Technology the technology is greatly increasing. And yet… many opportunities remain untouched. That is why I chose to build @Sicherrides here in Gulu City becouse there's still alot of opportunities that other people from other places can also come and invest in and not because it is easy but because it matters to solve real pain points of the community who is willing to adapt In Gulu city transportation here is not just about movement it is about: 1. Access to markets 2.Access to healthcare 3.Access to opportunity I believe the next wave of African innovation will not come only from major capital cities but will come from the cities that will take the lead in empowering its Youth in the varies sectors To the newly elected leaders @PaLabeja , @norbertmao , @OjaraMapenduzi ,@BettyAolOcan at all levels what policy do you bring to Gulu City to see the future of resources you have like the youth in this innovative era To the youth building i encourage us to engage with our leaders and we build Gulu city together for that future. “The strength of any nation lies in accountability, justice, and the institutions that serve its people.” 📌 I facilitated a session on “The Role of the Ombudsman in Socio-Economic Transformation of Uganda” at the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Leaders’ Retreat at the National Leadership Institute (NALI), Kyakwanzi. This critical dialogue reaffirmed that meaningful socio-economic transformation can happen with strong oversight systems, effective citizen redress mechanisms, and uncompromising integrity in public service. At the heart of governance is trust, and trust is built when institutions respond, leaders are accountable, and citizens are heard.
