@JoeGoodberry @DocStripes It’s become clear they don’t really care about going anywhere. Making the wild card is the goal for this front office.

One Month until the NFL Draft! With the way the Bengals handle contract structures and cash, they need to draft like a top 5 team. Ranking 16th in drafting success won't cut it. They need to NAIL this 2026 draft class if they expect to get where they want to go. The pressure is on and it makes it exciting to watch unfold.

You can look and see what the Bengals have done in free agency & be happy with that You can also look and see what they've done with those contracts & have a problem with it Caring for your team in either/both capacities doesn't make you a "bad fan" People can have opinions

Looks like it was actually $14m per year for Devin Lloyd with a 2026 cap hit of just $6.77m He got $25m guaranteed, so it was never a real option in Cincinnati.

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

Listen to this. It's about the Cowboys, but you can see some similarities.
D Magazine@DMagazine

The Cowboys were never ever going to be successful at free agency and there are a few reasons why. @SportsSturm of 1310 The Ticket breaks down why there was little hope that the Jones boys were going to learn how to make deals in the moment or without leverage to fix their historically bad defense. @mikelikessports @machinesports

This mentality continues to make no sense…ESPECIALLY when you employ Joe Burrow. More⬇️⬇️ si.com/nfl/bengals/on…

The Bengals aren’t cash strapped
Papa@RichardDenman64

@JamesRapien If the Bengals are as cash strapped as rumor has it? Why haven't they explored selling a 1% stake of the team to 1-2 PE firms? It's an easy way to raise $100M/1% sold. Those stakes can be non voting so the Brown family doesn't lose control. Simple.

The #Bengals could restructure Joe Burrow's contract right now and add multiple veteran players to the defense with the cap savings. Not doing so is indefensible.

@Ryan_D2TF It doesn’t make sense…it also doesn’t make sense that they don’t sell a minority stake in the team to bring in cash, create a winning machine and exponentially increase the value of the team

Every year they prove they aren’t willing to change to maximize their window. On one had, we are always cap healthy. On the other, we never push money into the future knowing the cap will always go up.
Goodberry@JoeGoodberry

Defensive Ends that got multi year deals and their 2026 Cap Hits $17.0M - Boye Mafe $9.9M - Jaelan Phillips $9.4M - Kwity Paye $7.5M - Joseph Ossai $7.2M - Dre'Mont Jones $6.5M - Bradley Chubb $5.4M - Rashan Gary We're still waiting for numbers on Trey Hendrickson and Odafe Oweh.
