GM Friends! Below is the Mid Week Edition of @MonkeDAO Discord Update: Today's rundown is brought to you by the letter P. P is for Poverty. 1. A heated debate arose regarding the world’s best food. While the topic remained unresolved and hotly debated, it was ultimately decided that the UK ranked absolutely last, perhaps behind planets yet to be inhabited. For example: UK breakfast, beans on toast, fish and chips, Sunday roast, all of which sound rather terrible and account, most likely, for much of the poor British disposition and aversion to cheerfulness. 2. We celebrated our first "Child of the DAO", my IRL son who is also a Gen 2 and Gen 3 holder, has been officially turned over to be raised by the collective DAO. I am hopefully optimistic that he will either cure cancer one day or become a serial rugger. More to follow. 3. A plot was uncovered by the Secret Monke Police against @jemmmyjemm's concubine. I will not go into the details, but believe me when I say that they were beyond salacious. 4. Tariff talk continued, which fueled further escalations between the pro-Canadian and pro-American Monke factions, with the pro-China Monkes now becoming increasingly pulled into the fray. 5. WWII atrocities and their accompanying monuments were discussed, at length. Trolling ensued. Feelings were hurt and then mended, as is the Monke way. 6. Several members shared photos of their footwear, which ranged from high end slides to penny loafers. I was widely ostracized for my love of HeyDudes, unjustly so, I’m afraid. HeyDudes are both sensible and stylish. I’ll die on that hill. 7. We spent several hours discussing the proper distance from the Casino in which it is appropriate to cry. Most members agreed that once beyond the awning and onto the sidewalk, crying is permitted. However, several members objected, noting that crying within sight of the Casino would likely imply a weak genetic disposition.
