March was humbling. The ecosystem made that clear.
But humbling months have a way of sharpening conviction - and ours hasn't moved.
Here's what MonkeDAO has been up to:
We restructured. Streamlined our contributor network, cut operational expenses by ~20%, and set ourselves up to move leaner and faster. Grateful to every early contributor who built the foundation we stand on.
We're leaning into AI - not as a trend, but as infrastructure. Workflows, operations, bandwidth freed up for what matters most: building and showing up for the community.
Honored to welcome @juamps (early MonkeDAO contributor, CPO at Civic) as our Resident Experimenter for AI Initiatives.

Two (possibly three) new initiatives dropping soon. Built on a simple belief: MonkeDAO can fill real gaps in our ecosystem and reach audiences well beyond it, through these strategic tie-ups.

The space feels much quieter right now. Maybe even a little bleak to some.

It's definitely a good time to spend more energy around people you genuinely like and care about.
Little to no noise, less distraction, more signal (if and when it comes).
Some may see fear and danger, but others may see opportunity and that's totally fair - that's what makes the market.
