@StratRedTM @LDS_Dems I think it’s important people remember that politics and faith are not equal. And they usually don’t align. Attempting to justify a political view by backing it up with a religious view isn’t correct imo.

I get that it is a personal reconciliation and reflection when you personally combine politics with religion. Each of have to do that on our own. Having said that, I have never been able to find one that could properly explain that reconciliation. From a strictly academic standpoint, the totality of the liberal ideal has only very few areas of alignment with the practice and doctrine of the church. And that alignment is more of concept and not practice. I certainly respect you position of having made that reconciliation. I'm just not sure that the math works out though.

I was a Conservative back in 2015. Becoming Never Trump then was the easiest, most obvious and self evident decision I ever made. Like deciding ice water is cold.

I'm sure you and other Ute fans are nice people. But it's only Utah fans acting this way. Like, I know ASU and Arizona weren't exactly thrilled with the Big 12 either. But I just don't see this kind of hatred of the conference they are in, just more nostalgia of the Pac12. Why are they like this? Why are there so many like this?

Watching Utah become head and shoulders the most hateable fanbase in the conference over Central Florida in such a short time has been pretty remarkable. Truly an astounding effort to be so unanimously hated by everyone in the conference while accomplishing next to nothing since they joined the Big 12.
