@Free_ByTheSea So what !? National debt is private surplus; surplus tht's converted into Gilts; Gilts tht r bought by pension COs; Pension COs buy Gilts - "Gilt Edged" - bc they're the safest assets; safest bc, obviously, a Govt with it's own sovereign currency can't involuntary go broke FFS!

Well done Rachel 🙄 The UK’s 5.76% rise in yield on 30 year gilts means the Government will face higher debt interest costs.😱 Given our national debt has spiralled £2.91 trillion that’s going to be very expensive indeed. And how will we cover it given our Debt to GDP ratio is already at almost 100%? The Labour Black Hole will take decades to correct- if ever 💔

It’s becoming clear Polanski doesn’t want to answer tough questions - on his own past as a hypnotherapist who once said he could grow women’s boobs. Or about anti-Semitic comments being made by Green Party candidates. He needs to step up and take accountability.
Good Morning Britain@GMB

'I don't think it's unreasonable Zack Polanski to ask you about your integrity, about your beliefs, about what you say.' @susannareid100 and @edballs challenge leader of the Green party Zack Polanski about claims he's previously made about using hypnosis to enlarge women's breasts. Zack Polanski has previously apologised for making the claims.

Struggling to care about Privileges Committee when nearly 2 million people are unemployed, national debt is sitting at 94% of GDP and the government is still borrowing £130 billion a year. It would be nice if policymakers did their jobs instead

@Magpie24_7 Absolutely no problem with a young man wanting to return to his family and home country 🤷 Italians are generally very proud, likely wants to raise his son as an Italian, nothing wrong with that, he never wanted to leave we all know that. That is if all this talk is even true.

Sandro Tonali has reportedly made a “total U-turn” on his future amid transfer interest from Manchester United and Manchester City, according to journalist Sebastien Vidal He says Sandro now wants a return to Italy despite the fact no club in Italy can afford his wages and transfer fee! Laughable really. MAGPIE METER RATING: 🐦‍⬛ shorturl.at/SQ5XQ #NUFC #NUFCNews #Newcastle #EPL

@CharlotteCGill I think you'll find that - belatedly - she understood that Starmer (& Reeves)- like every over aspect of his government - was a fraudulent liar, reneging on all his missions: they are not going well because there isn't any - there never was! ft.com/content/4b0d4e…

I live in London, and I'm well travelled. London is one of the safest places I've ever been to. It is a beautiful, diverse and vibrant city and there's no 'no go' zone, absolutely none. Every bit of London, be it posh or poor, is remarkably safe by international standards.

Gordon Brown was instrumental in saving the world from a depression during his premiership. It looks like Keir Starmer is central in the attempts to stop another world recession. This time, can we please recognise the efforts of our Labour PM. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…
