@heyshrutimishra @AGreatDomain @theallinpod The real shift is when AI leaves the screen and enters the physical world. Autonomous vehicles, robots, and drones all need a real-time intelligence stack—simulation, perception, decision, and control. Companies building that infrastructure could define the next mobility era.

Physical AI is the biggest opportunity most people are sleepwalking past.

A clean WHOIS improves domain investment value by increasing buyer trust and reducing acquisition risk. When a domain has no history of spam, phishing, or malicious activity, companies can approve purchases faster during legal and cybersecurity checks. It also avoids potential reputation or SEO issues with platforms like Google. For investors, combining a clean WHOIS with a simple landing page and a clear price reduces buyer friction, making domains easier to evaluate and more likely to sell.

@MediaOptions Absolutely. The best domains communicate instantly—no decoding required. Clarity builds trust, and trust drives acquisition.

Exaggerated marketing in the domain industry, especially on platforms like X (Twitter).
1. What “Category Killer” Means
A category-killer domain is supposed to dominate an entire industry or niche—like a perfect keyword or extremely strong brand name that could become the leading brand in that market. Examples in general markets would be names like Cars•com, Ai•com, or Hotels•com.
Many sellers use the phrase “Category Killer” to make their domain names appear more valuable and rare than it actually is, although these names are a far departure from category names.
2. “Wallet or Buzz Killer”
Wallet killers – overpriced domains that can drain a buyer’s money without delivering real brand value.
Buzz killers – names that sound exciting in marketing posts but lack strong commercial appeal.
In other words, the claim is marketing hype rather than objective value.
3. Why This Happens
Unlike regulated markets, the domain industry has no formal rules governing promotional claims. Anyone can describe a domain using phrases like:
“category killer”
“premium”
“unicorn name”
“future billion-dollar brand”
Even if the name is average.
4. The Real Lesson for Domain Investors:
Serious investors evaluate domains using objective criteria, such as:
~ brandability
~ linguistic clarity
~ industry relevance
~ buyer pool size
~ comparable sales
Not just promotional buzz!!!

The statement “Brandable does not mean random” is common in the domain investing and startup branding world.
It means that a good brandable name still needs structure, meaning, and market logic, even if it is invented.
1. Brandable names still follow linguistic logic
Strong brandable domains usually have clear pronunciation, familiar word roots, or recognizable patterns.
Examples:
~ Google•com
~ Spotify•com
~ Shopify•com
~ Jetity•com
~ Premeter•com
~ Volocraft•com
These names were invented, but they sound natural, memorable, and easy to say. They are not random letter combinations.
2. Good brandables suggest meaning or emotion. It often hints at an idea, industry, or feeling.
For example:
~ Autopter•com suggests eVTOL
~ Preempter•com suggests predictive agents
~ Laviator•com immediately evokes aviation, while a random string like XJQZTR•com does not communicate anything.
3. Random names lack commercial clarity
Completely random names usually:
~ Are hard to pronounce
~ Are hard to remember
~ Do not suggest an industry or concept
Because of this, companies rarely pay premium prices for them.
4. Brandables must balance creativity and logic:
The best domain brands typically combine:
~ Real words or roots
~ Memorability
~ Industry relevance
That balance is what makes a name brandable rather than random.
A brandable domain may be new or invented, but it still sounds natural, conveys meaning, and feels like a real brand name—not just a random collection of letters. #BrandableDomain

@SebJohnsonUK Huge milestone for European AI. Moving beyond LLMs toward predictive AI models and world models that understand and simulate reality could redefine how machines reason, anticipate outcomes, and act.

BREAKING: Yann LeCun has raised a HUGE $1.03bn round for his new startup, in Europe's largest seed EVER!
It values Advanced Machine Intelligence (AMI) at a WHOPPING $3.5bn!
The company, based in Paris, is aiming to develop the next generation of AI models that go beyond LLMs.
It is aiming to build world models that learn abstract representations of reality, similar to the mental models humans use to reason and guide action in the physical world.
These systems predict how situations evolve, and how actions lead to consequences, so that they can plan sequences of actions under real-world constraints.
It has just announced raising $1.03bn at a $3.5bn valuation co-led by Hiro Capital, Cathay Innovation, Greycroft, HV Capital, and Jeff Bezos Expeditions.
In February it was revealed that UK-based Ineffable Intelligence was raising a $1bn seed. Now French AMI is raising a $1.03bn seed.
Both of these companies are aiming to take AI beyond LLMs, and if they succeed, could build some of the most important technology in the world.
European Tech is COOKING and we love to see it
