@Corballyred On a positive note, the player recruitment reminds me of the start of the ‘24 season when we were left wondering who we were going to sign after losing Thiago and Matip. That season worked out pretty well.

So let me get this right : - Liverpool have sacked the manager - Michael Edwards has left. - Richard Hughes is leaving - Chris Dowling is leaving - Robertson Salah and Konate have left. - FSG are looking to sell part if not all the club - Our recruitment team is on the missing list. -Iraola is begging for transfers. -And we are spending whole Summer focused on Barcola without bidding for him. All on the back of arguably our worst Premier League season ever and people are telling me stop being negative🤭

@OptimisticJets We don’t need to reach on a QB, just to take a QB. Starting next season Chambliss (24) and Simpson (23) are no where near ready to be starting NFL QB. Rather draft best available or trade back and gather more picks and sign Willis (26) or Jones (27).

@JetCastPod If they want to save their job draft 5 starters in the first two rounds and sign a free agent QB. Mac Jones can have a trajectory like Darnold and be a top half of the league QB. Draft WR, DL, LB, CB and best available. That s almost 25% of your team improved through draft.

Here is the problem with waiting till 27 to get a QB. Glenn and Mougey are on hot seat. They NEED to take a QB in this draft to save their jobs.

@szantz Nope. I rebuilding the defense and WR room. Signing Mac Jones and taking a flier on a developmental QB. Jones can become our Sam Darnold. A better than average starter that gives you a chance to win without losing you games. Draft a young QB with ‘27 pick.
