Trump approved a nuclear deal with Saudi Arabia worth tens of billions of dollars Donald Trump has approved a 30-year civil nuclear energy agreement with Saudi Arabia, The Wall Street Journal reports. The deal will allow U.S. companies to participate in building the kingdom’s nuclear infrastructure. In the future, it could involve the construction of a uranium enrichment facility. Unlike the Biden administration, Trump did not demand that Riyadh normalize relations with Israel before signing the agreement. The document is expected to be signed this week, after which it will be sent to the U.S. Congress.

BLA Claims Responsibility for Mastung Attack The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for the coordinated attack on a convoy of buses transporting Pakistani military personnel, their security escorts, and reinforcements that later arrived at the scene in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung. In a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, the group said the operation was carried out by its elite "Fateh Squad" and that intense fighting was still ongoing at the time of the statement. According to the BLA, more than 45 Pakistani military personnel have been killed and dozens wounded. The group further claimed that the death toll could rise as clashes continue. The BLA said it will release a detailed statement on the operation and its claimed military casualties at a later stage.
