This is exactly the kind of opportunism I’ve been afraid of. You think the industry was bad before? Now there are 17,000 people out of work in a shrinking job market. The big studios know they’re the ones with the power now, and some of them WILL abuse it. I’m terrified.

My dentist no longer has wheelchair access. Referred me to its sister practice who immediately wanted £85 up front, as a new patient. I’m not a new patient. So I guess now I have to find a new practice, with access, and find a new dentist to trust. Tedious, tiresome, stuff to do.

When I cycle to work I have a running commentary in my head similar to that of the Tour de France. When a more "hardcore" cyclist passes me, the commentators are always complimentary about the effort I've shown and praise the adversity I've had to overcome. Perks me right up.
