This is simply not true. The task force report made 8 recommendations, and this is only one of them. The report makes it clear that $2420 is not a living wage and is not sufficient.

This past week, I had the chance to study carbonate depositional environments on the island of San Salvador in The Bahamas. We saw everything from eolianites with spectacular paleosols, to fossil reefs, to hyper saline lakes with modern stromatolites. #geology #springbreak2020

This past weekend I got to meet the great-great-grandnephew of the man who discovered our beloved Jeff the giant ground sloth 130 years ago. He even showed us the site where it was found. Its pretty awesome how the story of a fossil discovery was passed down through generations.
