Having career ethics officials approve your self-dealing doesn't mean much if you don't tell them the whole truth.

Pruitt has (1) extracted undeserved personal benefits at taxpayer expense, and (2) accepted favors from people he regulates. This is corruption, plain and simple. Corruption is a weed. If we don't cut it out, it will grow.

Scott Pruitt has barred science from the EPA and repeatedly ignored the Administrative Procedures Act. But what might bring him down is sleeping in the wrong townhouse. We live in a strange world.

“He hides his schedule from the public. His own employees need an escort to see him and aren’t allowed to take notes at meetings.” And keeps “an unprecedented round-the-clock security detail” on “trips to Disneyland and the Rose Bowl” Dude is weird.
