@ProfDonnaHall Only justification she could offer for her embarrassing pay was ‘peers’ and ‘same as my male predecessor’. Ignored interviewer’s question ‘Why not pay yourself less and frontline staff more?’ Every social care provider earning more than £100K p.a. needs to answer that.

What a terrible attitude to supporting people with leaning disabilities from a company with lots of contracts with councils. Patronising behaviour from someone who blames the complexities of commissioning for underpaying staff & providing poor care. It’s a leadership vacuum.

Went into our local PO to post a parcel. Their reader couldn’t read the barcode as it was a bit of a patchy colour. They said I could print another one there. They charged £1 for one black and white A4 page. Is that normal? It’s been a long time since I paid to print anything.
