We had the pleasure of meeting with the Spanish Ministry of Science @CienciaGob, where we discussed how Spain can continue driving the #innovation that will shape the future of space #propulsion. We shared our vision for the next generation of propulsion systems — high-performance, cost-effective and sustainable technologies essential to boosting Europe’s competitiveness and reinforcing its strategic #autonomy and #security. We also explored how strong collaboration between institutions and industry can consolidate Spain’s position as a technological leader in propulsion. We shared our vision for the future of European #propulsion and hosted an open, constructive dialogue on the role of innovation, industrial and testing capabilities, competition, and collaboration in shaping Europe’s access to space. New contract! The future of propulsion is being built — and we’re proud to be part of it. We've been selected by @CNES to carry out the preliminary design of the new French high-thrust engine, as part of the #ASTRE project. Pangea will be responsible for the engine preliminary design, system architecture, and program definition — including the development roadmap, cost model, and business model. We’ll be working alongside ArianeGroup and Sirius Space Services, each contributing their expertise to make this next-generation engine a reality — one that will power future heavy-lift launches and space exploration missions. €11.6M project awarded by the Spanish Space Technology Programme to fully develop #ARCOS — a major step forward in the future of space #propulsion. The MERLIn project (Efficient and Reusable Engine for International Launchers) will enable the full development of ARCOS, the world’s first flight-ready aerospike engine. Designed by Pangea, brought to life in collaboration with outstanding partners such as @ITPAero , #Sener Aerospace & Defence, and #AENIUM — and made possible thanks to the strong commitment to innovation from @CDTI_innovacion and Agencia Espacial Española. A powerful example of public-private collaboration, uniting some of the most innovative players in the Spanish aerospace sector to help position Europe at the forefront of space technology. As we wrap up #2024, we’re proud to celebrate a highly successful year at Pangea Aerospace. As you can see, our team continues to grow and strengthen, achieving milestones that enable us to create the future of space propulsion. 👌 This year’s highlights include significant progress and major milestones in the development of #ARCOS and #UNYX, as well as the birth of #Kronos, our very high-thrust rocket engine for future European launchers. We were honored to welcome Toni Tolker-Nielsen, Director of Space Transportation Systems at ESA, along with Sandrine Palerm and Giorgio Tumino, to our Barcelona office.
