I'll pile on. What Elegoo did was ask us early people for feedback on what was suppose to be a near finished product. What we got was hardware 80% of the way there, with some really questionable choices on thing. PLUS, firmware that damaged machines and scratch build surfaces. I really really REALLY hope the backers get something much better than what I and others have tested - HOWEVER - with the track record Elegoo has for supporting just the few of us that got early units, I'm not optimistic. This is why I'm working with @LukesLaboratory to create a BlueStorm Tera, and outfit the machine with a proper extruder, hot end, and bed sensor to start. We are going to make the Giga what it SHOULD have been from Elegoo.
