@IslesDen I’ve won like 4 grand the last 2 playoff runs off them. I will always be a fan. They are what playoff hockey is all about. 200 ft guys, gritty/mean, and skilled. Its truly a treat to watch them come playoffs

@Papi1754 Agreed, the eastern conference reflects how broken the playoff format is. Worst bracket I’ve ever seen from team quality to the actual play. We’re gonna get a great Stanley cup at least

@IslesDen Absolutely loved that from him as well. I would’ve 100% yoinked him against Utah because he looked horrible but thats actually why you hire a guy like Torts that knows his goalies. With Buffalo, they both suck. The east is a literal joke.

@Papi1754 Torts was the best hire for Hart too. Seems to have found his game slowly without the threat of getting benched, which I think is huge w goalies. Both Sabres ones either suck or are broken. Stupid ass series

@IslesDen yup loved the hire. if i didnt have minny it was them 1000%. They have the perfect build to win a cup I guess Cassidy’s voice got stale. Also upgraded the goalie which was massive. Carter Hart is an elite goalie at his best and hes finding his groove again. Scary

@philzfactz @harry4four @Papi1754 If Cizikas’ 4th line wingers put up goal totals near his you’re once again looking at one of the best 4th lines in hockey. Guy looked flat to start the year then played well. Cosch kept playing two stiffs w him. Another solid long term signing when we would have been short a 4C.

Disagree strongly. Ideally the dzone setup on a 6 on 5 is a box and one. The box moves up and down based on where the puck is. The bumper was covered and you had to force Mackinnon to make a play here not sit there like a moron. HOWEVER, this needs to be saved no question.

I get that Middleton had a bad series, but this goal isn't his fault. He was blocking the pass to the play in the slot. At that point you rely on your goalie to take the shot away on the short side, which Wally absolutely did. It was just an unreal shot
