'A Dark Positivity' (EP) ° This one's for the LISTENERS. 5 tracks of bluntly honest perspectives on the difficult and sometimes harsh realities of positivity; all laid out over uniquely experimental instrumentals from @connernunn song.link/parrisrobbo RT if you're a R1 🙏🏾

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

The US is the world's biggest exporter of weapons of war with 42% of all arms transfers originating in the US - meanwhile Cuba is the biggest exporter of doctors and healthcare workers in the world, with nearly 30,000 doctors helping to save lives in over 50 countries. Basically, the country that exports death wants to destroy the country that exports life. This tracks.

This is our 1939 moment. The Israeli extermination machine, even as it carries out genocide in Palestine and murderous aggression in Iran, is rampaging through Lebanon, leaving death and destruction across a large swath of the country. Whole neighborhoods have been destroyed, villages ethnically cleansed, hundreds murdered, many more wounded and maimed, and a million Lebanese displaced. The outside world, states and international institutions, some out of fear and others in open complicity, are not coming to help. Appeasement has failed. Diplomacy has failed. Appeals to law have failed. The Lebanese people, who were praying for peace, now have no choice but to fight this monstrous regime, before it is too late, and others in the region must support them, if only in their own self interest. The alternative is death, destruction, and subjugation. And all free people must work in solidarity with the Lebanese, Palestinian, and Iranian people. Israeli regime lawlessness and impunity are existential threats to all who live in the region, to international peace and security, and to the very idea of international law itself. The machine must be defeated.

Doctors in Havana say at least 3,000 people are relying on dialysis machines to stay alive, and may die if these blackouts continue. This is murder. en.granma.cu/cuba/2026-03-1…

CNN: Breaking news. Cuba's electrical grid has suffered a complete and total collapse. This is according to the country's power operator. It's the first nationwide blackout since the US effectively shut off the flow of oil to Cuba

My latest in @declassifiedUK is a shocking story of incompetence, malfeasance, and unlawful behaviour: Britain's Ministry of Defence paid £1.5 billion for drones which kept crashing and couldn't fly in bad weather. The contract was awarded to Israel's largest arms firm Elbit Systems and Thales from France. Those companies squeezed the MoD for years, with the drones costing £88,400 per flying hour and executives charging £18,000 a month for hotels. Meanwhile, Elbit and Thales produced an export variant of the same drone and signed a £400 million contract to sell them to Romania. Despite everything, they were assisted by the UK government, which subsidised the production of those drones and promised to support export licenses. Shipping documents expose how dozens of drone components have been sent from Britain to Israel since the contract with Romania was signed - but they haven't been onward exported to Romania. And open-source evidence now strongly suggests Elbit has been testing the drones in the illegally occupied Golan Heights, likely breaching UK export law. This young man is Dham Al-Amoush. A Jordanian engineer who was arrested for online posts on Gaza. After months, he decided to go on a hunger strike. He called his parents after one week to tell them he was not feeling well then disappeared. Parents searched for him in all prisons and hospitals. They found him 2 days later being dropped off at a hospital in a coma. His family alleged he was subjected to severe beatings and torture. The hospital refused to give the family any medical reports. The government refused to allow the family to treat him abroad. A few days ago he was sentenced to 12 years in prison, reduced to 8—while he was on life support. Today, he tragically passed away. His daughter was born while he was in jail. He never got to see her. Heartbreaking injustice.

A black woman from Kenya disappeared in the UK and was found dead in a body of water. Barely anyone reported on it. No one is saying her name. She’s being forgotten. Melissa is doing incredible work to raise awareness about cases no one else will report on.

Edna Mmbali Ombakho came to the UK from Kenya to study and reach her goals, only to end up being found dead in a body of water. No wall-to-wall mainstream media coverage. No televised press conference. Just one local news report followed by silence. open.substack.com/pub/melissasig…

ON CAMERA, Israeli soldiers savagely gang raped Palestinian detainees at the infamous Sde Teiyman prison camp. After the scandal broke, instead of generating outrage and disgust in Israel, it generated a mass protest in support of the IDF’s “right to rape Palestinian hostages.” Today, the Israel military closed the investigation against the confessed soldier-rapists. Dr Adnan Bursh, head of orthopedic surgery at Shifa was sodomized to death by the IDF in Jail. He was a great surgeon, full of life, who trained at King's College Hospital in 🇬🇧.
