@calvinrobinson X. It will be a challenge, but I'll have more time to think about the passion of Christ and his resurrection.

👉 famillechretienne.fr/46569/article/…

@justinallen1976 @Tesco @Keir_Starmer I am sure it would be cheaper at the fishmonger and not 2 weeks old.
£32 per kilo is the price for halibut
English

£9 almost for a small bit of cod from @Tesco - absolutely bonkers. Almost £32 for a kilo in a country surrounded by sea!!!
You couldn’t make this up! Yet @Keir_Starmer says prices are coming down!

English

@PhilJC2 Really phil? When?
It's difficult to get Roscoff onions. In our days, the best in the world and expensive

Frenchmen selling onions at the door was definitely still a thing ‘when I were a lad’.
Mark Wallace@wallaceme
For years people thought I was barmy saying that when I was a kid in Monkseaton, Frenchmen would come door to door on bicycles selling onions with strings of them round their necks. Here they are!

‼️ The government is lying to you. It refuses to tell you the real reason why you have a 3 week wait to see a GP. The truth is this…
Since 2010 there have been 7 MILLION new GP registrations, whose previous addresses were outside of the UK.
▪️In 2010 there were 39,400 GPs
▪️In 2026 there are 38,800 GPs
We have 600 FEWER GPs for 7 million MORE people.
Now replicate that across the entire infrastructure of the country. See the problem?

@gonefishin1948 You're correct. Didn't notice the past tense in your question
English

@PascalGauvin1 Yes, now they do. But before water purification, rivers in one village or town were sewers and the sewage flowed downstream and was not suitable for drinking.

@gonefishin1948 French and English. Understand basic Italian

France is doing something radical. They’re sending letters to every twenty-nine-year-old in the country—men and women—reminding them that biology doesn’t negotiate. That the fertility window is real. That “later” has a terrifying habit of becoming “never.”
The French are being called fascists for it. I call it mercy, because I’ve seen what happens when we don’t get the memo.

@FoodieWineLover Try it next time and have me feedback.
My grandfather from Lorraine always wanted it that way
English

@FoodieWineLover Very nice. Have you tried sliced cornichons inside?
