Lots of disappointment/negativity around the Sixers, but I think if you told most Sixers fans coming into the season (not even knowing if Embiid would play, a seemingly washed Paul George) they’d make the second round of playoffs, they’d take that result.

@JeffPassan Not a fan so far. Each ump calls games differently as long as they are consistent it’s up to you to be able to adjust. If you want robotic strike zones then just pull the umps from behind home..human element is what baseball is about.

NEW: Marion County school resource officer strikes student athlete in head with stun gun during baseball game
A School Resource Officer at Pee Dee Academy in Marion County, South Carolina, is under investigation after hitting a student athlete on the side of the head with a stun gun while trying to restrain him during a baseball game this week.
The student was from the opposing team.
Cell phone video and eyewitness accounts captured the incident amid multiple ongoing events at the game.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has reassigned the deputy pending the outcome of the investigation, which has been turned over to the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED).

I recently did an interview and had a lapse in judgment, which resulted in me making a tasteless joke about CTE and asthma. It was never my intention to downplay the seriousness of head injuries or asthma.
