Virginians deserve to know how a man who was convicted on terrorism charges and spent time in federal prison could carry out the horrific attack at Old Dominion University. As a former intelligence officer, I have serious concerns. A full FBI investigation is vitally important.

@SenSchumer Clarification: The Dem DHS funding proposal guts key parts of the DHS and tries to backdoor insane limits on ICE and CBP (which are already funded by the BBB). Pass the DHS funding as passed by the House or STFU.

Democrats have offered legislation to fund TSA, Coast Guard, and FEMA while we continue ICE negotiations. Republicans BLOCKED the funding. We must fund TSA, Coast Guard and FEMA TODAY.
