Brain geniuses: AI will liberate us from work, and we'll all be rich! Almighty God (Gen. 3:19): "By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” Worth considering!

You’re entitled to your opinion but what I see is a President that actually communicates. For the first presidency I don’t feel completely in the dark on everything. We have a daily understanding on where he’s at AND press has hourly access to him. No waiting 6 months for a cabinet meeting or a CNN scripted interview. Whatever way he got here doesn’t negate the Dems have zero platform, have nothing more than obsession to run on, and whose strategy is to see America fail so they can get political digs in. No one can take away the fact this man actually does stuff.

Now that you've seen Iran launch ballistic missiles at Diego Garcia, do you now believe me that the problem was also that their missile program was about to start mass producing missiles capable of hitting Europe?!? Still think I'm crazy?
Gummi@gummibear737

The urgency was Iran having intermediate ballistic missiles that could reach Paris, and was working to build missiles that could reach the US Their stockpile was growing rapidly so as to overwhelm any missile defence The opportunity is that Iran was particularly vulnerable now

The US Army has been a force for good and upward mobility, raising untold numbers of young people out of poverty and crime It helps people with no other path and gives them skills, discipline, leadership, etc that translate into middle-class (or better) civilian lives Fuck you

@gummibear737 It’s a bunch of poor kids and aliens who have no choice outside of the military. It’s desperation. The poor go and die for the wealthy. You showed us nothing new.

It's a serious development in that it's transparently an Iranian signal that its missile range capability is now almost twice what it had previously advertised. The signal is not even to the US as much as it is to Europe, much of which is now vulnerable to Iran's latest missiles. There are two good reasons for this war: To stop Iran from getting a nuclear bomb and to destroy/degrade its long-range missile program. Nuclear capability combined with longer-range missiles (e.g., an ICBM) potentially puts the US homeland directly within Iran's reach.

Caesar's engineer figured out in 25 BC that damp buildings make people sick. Let that sit. Not a doctor. Not a scientist. An engineer. With a chisel and a scroll. He looked at swamps, looked at the people living near swamps, and wrote it down in De Architectura: 'The neighbourhood of a marshy place must be avoided… fogs and mists charged with unwholesome effluvia will diffuse over the bodies of the inhabitants and render the place pestilent.' He even described how excess moisture entering the body 'introduces disproportion… the virtues of the mixture dissolved.' That's immune dysregulation from environmental exposure. Written in 25 BC. With a quill. Meanwhile, I spent 45 minutes in a doctor's office trying to explain that my building might be making me sick and got referred to a therapist. He didn't have air quality sensors. He didn't have ERMI dust testing. He didn't have a single peer-reviewed citation. He just looked at the evidence in front of him and connected the dots. We have satellites. We have HVAC. We have the entire internet. Vitruvius figured it out with observation. We are not smarter than ancient Rome. We are just Rome with wifi and worse excuses.

John Kiriakou is the most dangerous propagandist out there Unlike people like Douglas Macgregor or Prof Jiang, he’s incredibly smart and cunning His methods of deception are very subtle, but there’s no doubt in my mind that he’s not a good faith actor…beware

In other words, Carrie Prejean Boller was not thrown out of the Commission on Religious Liberty because she was a Roman Catholic: she was thrown out for being an obvious agitating propagandist who was there to disrupt a meeting that was focused on dialogue and religious liberty.
Bishop Robert Barron@BishopBarron

Over the past several weeks, Carrie Prejean Boller has complained that she was removed from the Presidential Commission on Religious Liberty because of her Catholic beliefs, and she has called out myself and other Catholic members of the commission for not defending her. This is absurd. Mrs. Prejean Boller was not dismissed for her religious convictions but rather for her behavior at a gathering of the Commission last month: browbeating witnesses, aggressively asserting her point of view, hijacking the meeting for her own political purposes. The Catholic position on matters of “Zionism,” to which I fully subscribe, is as follows: all forms of antisemitism are to be unequivocally condemned; the state of Israel has a right to exist; but the modern nation of Israel does not represent the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies and hence does not stand beyond criticism. If Mrs. Prejean Boller were dismissed for holding these beliefs, it is difficult to understand why I am still a member of the Commission. To paint herself as a victim of anti-Catholic prejudice or to claim that her religious liberty has been denied is simply preposterous.

If you are an old friend of mine who had to endure my warnings about this reflexive op 4 years ago, ignored those warnings, and now see that what you participated in was designed to fracture our nation and mutate the Gospel, give me call privately. I won't bite your head off. All is forgiven. Let's talk. And those tears of anguish that I shed when trying to convince you not to go down this terrible road will soon be tears of joy - for my prodigal friend has returned. 70 X 7
James Lindsay, anti-Communist@ConceptualJames

It is okay to recognize the op. It is okay to step away from the op because it obviously went too far. It is okay to have been taken in by the op so long as you can break free from it and help others to do the same. The op is obvious now. Get in. Let's go.
