@AndyMcDonaldMP @jrf_uk That is a bit of good news if it goes ahead, however all gov'ts seem to forget whatever they payout in benefits of anykind 70p in every £ spent finds it's way back to gov't coffers by various tax systems.

The basic rate of Universal Credit has fallen by 9% in real terms since 2010. I raised the @jrf_uk proposal for an independent advisory process to inform UC rates, ensuring it reflects the real cost of essentials.

I mainly work from home. I have a disability. I am unpaid carer. Without working from home I would have to claim UC, may be PIP and may Carers Allowance.

@leith1076 🤔 getting more confused by the day with this work from home arguement, thought Reform wanted everybody back in offices/at workstations for a full week🤔 mind you where do you put them when organisations including the public sector has downsized there workspace to save money🤔

Reform appear to be saying that disabled people have no excuse not to be in work with the growth of working from home, while simultaneously arguing that it should be banned. 🤔
