If Chris Drury is looking for a forward, could Jake DeBrusk be an option? He has the same exact cap hit as Braden Schneider and is under contract for a while. He was teammates with JT Miller in Vancouver and wouldn’t be too expensive to acquire. He’s only 29, so he’s not out of the trajectory. Schneider was someone Vancouver had previous interest in as well in JT Miller talks back in 2022 and they could use RHD depth. Drury could bring in a cheap depth defenseman to play on the bottom pairing. #NYR
