@PJTheBelt Alberta is rat free...Alberta's zero-tolerance policy will not allow trains or commercial truck traffic through without spending weeks to inspect them before they are allowed to travel through Alberta

Now is Canada’s moment to reframe our mindset and win the global resource game To succeed, we’ll need to shed our typically bashful Canadian reflexes and embrace the reality that we hold much of what the world needs. thehub.ca/2025/08/01/mic…

Yesterday I met with Canadian Ambassador to Japan @_IanMcKay. Ambassador McKay was also kind enough to host an event at the Canadian Embassy with many of the industry leaders, investors, and government officials that we met with this week. They served both local Japan and Hokkaido products as well as Alberta products like pork, honey, and of course - Alberta beef! We also met with the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs @MofaJapan_en and discussed how Alberta and Japan can grow our $3 billion trade relationship. I also participated in an interview with @NIKKEI_CNBC to discuss the work we’ve been doing this week to increase access to Japanese markets for Alberta products.

Ottawa has made it clear they plan to pull back RCMP from local policing by 2032. We won’t leave Albertans without service — and municipalities will have the choice on how to fill that gap.

Grateful to have joined hundreds of Albertans at this year’s Provincial Christian Prayer Breakfast in Edmonton. It was powerful to gather with so many leaders in faith, business, and government to reflect on sacrifice, renewal, and the hope that comes with Easter. Thank you to Minister Dan Williams @DanWilliamsAB and all the organizers for bringing us together today. Your support and your faith continue to uplift our province.
