I don’t care what anyone says, Dan Hurley is an embarrassment to @MarchMadnessMBB and college basketball. I’m so tired of his total lack of self- control being excused for his “passion” for the game. It’s a reflection of how far integrity and sportsmanship have fallen in sports.

The @celtics got screwed by the refs last night and I am a basketball fan not a Celtics fan. SGA’s foul baiting is unbearable to watch and not real basketball. All he has to do is throw his arms up and the officials will give him 2 free throws. Basketball is the new soccer.

Congrats to @jamestalarico for winning the primary. I hope all TX public educators will remember that name come November. He was one of very few that stood tall for us in 2 legislative sessions when Abbott and his cronies felt it necessary to bash us to get ESAs/Vouchers passed.

Great. A large majority of Texas voters are against your crazy DEI mandates. Also, taking race or sex into consideration when hiring, directly violates the Texas Constitution. When Texans and Americans learn about your Bernie Sanders voting record, you will be toast.

You may have never voted for a Democrat before but if you are a teacher or coach in Texas, nobody stood taller for you than @jamestalarico in the last 2 state sessions. There were a few house republicans who also stood up but they were primaried out by the top state leaders 2 years ago. Many in the Republican party at the state level needlessly attacked you to gain support for ESAs. ESAs could have passed without those attacks, but the attacks made it easier. As a lifelong conservative voter this was hard to stomach. Thankfully some of those guys were defeated yesterday. But always during the attacks Talarico was there for educators. These last 4 years have given me a lot to think about in terms of how I will vote. I have not changed how I feel about things, but no single party gets my vote automatically anymore. I’ll enjoy watching this Texas Senate base and listening to the candidates.

@TroyMooney Talarico stood tall for public educators during the voucher scam. Regardless of what side of the aisle they lean to they should stand tall for him on March 3rd.

Absolutely this is impacting the support for Talarico from conservative teachers and coaches. They remember what was said about them by the Governor, Sid Miller, and representatives like Brian Harrison etc. And they are not likely to forget. I still think ESAs will only grow in Texas but there will be some backlash this cycle.

I voted for @jamestalarico yesterday. Not because he is a Democrat or a Republican but because when he speaks there is honesty, sincerity, and thoughtfulness in his words. I don’t get that feeling from any of the other candidates on either side of the aisle.
