@lukesssssssss33 First-year player holding down a forward pocket role in a team sitting 6th is a big tick. It's one of the hardest positions on the ground limited opportunities, you've got to defend hard, apply pressure and make the most of every touch. Double tick.

Richmond look worse off than Essendon. Josh Smillie hasn't even played an AFL game yet, so you can't count him. Jayden Short is a genuine out. Hopper and Ross are experienced, but hardly A-graders. Richmond really weren't missing a heap of proven senior talent. Pretty grim.

Robey might have him for pure talent but Sharp is more than the sum of his parts.
He looks like he might be a special leader - a Hodge/Selwood type who others will follow into battle. And his Footy IQ is off the charts.

For all those people who think we have cost ourselves the end of the first or the start of the second-round pick due to a bid coming on a player, we haven't. If Richmond finish bottom, for example, and they bid on Walker (which they will), every bottom-five side receives that additional pick. A lot of people on here need to research before posting doomsday scenarios.
