@markjen71577424 @dio_five @OllieHolt22 Forest lost the semi final as a result with Gibbs-White injured. Villa looked after Villa and won the Europa. Palace also rested players v West Ham. Frankie is nose deep in a bag hence his aggression and delusion. Also he’s quite dim.

@westy1979 @talkSPORT Seb Coe, Tessa Jowell & Boris reputations. As for legacy a fully refurbished 25k Crystal Palace athletics stadium was the legacy answer. West Ham owners knew by accepting the track they would win the bid. Lies about sight lines and more to con WHU fans.

@t0m0Genesis @talkSPORT Name one stadium with an athletics track built in the last 25 years with a top club using it? The giants you’re talking about play in crumbling stadia. San Siro getting demolished. Old Wembley. Stade de France has retractable seating and PSG play next door..

@talkSPORT I don’t get the whole ‘it’s not a football stadium’ look across Europe. Giants have running tracks around pitches and they still generate great atmospheres. Fans have to pull together. It’s done now. Sam cook you’re just a fat bellend anyway mate.

@westy1979 @talkSPORT That’s not actually true. Both Spurs and West Ham had bids for the stadium. Spurs bid was far superior theguardian.com/football/2011/… Political reputations demanded the athletics track WHU were a Championship club knew the only way to win the bid was to buy the work.

@talkSPORT Clueless from Matterface “I don’t know what was possible”, well don’t pass judgement then! The track was forced on the owners by the govt, at that point they should have said no. Not that I would advocate for leaving Upton Park in the first place.

@dio_five @OllieHolt22 Villa have won the Europa league and finished 4th in the PL by utilising their squad and rotating 7 players. Forest rested 8 players against Chelsea with an eye on the semi final. Enjoy Lincoln Away. Ole ole ole.

@davidyelland You talk as if the referees are Arsenal players lol As for staying humble why should they they've had rival fans across the last 4 seasons mock them for finishing 2nd and cheering there own teams on to lose to make that happen so take it on the chin and move on.

Arsenal don’t seem to understand why they are hated by every other club. Is it the cheating? Is it the inexplicable decisions by Premier League referees? Partly. And they deny both. But mainly it is the lack of class, the sense of entitlement… I have never known a team so despised…. when you are Champions you have to stay humble and they have not.

@PatrickSmith016 @lssnorlax @AlasdairGold Exactly, Ange said a lot of good things and defended the Tottenham name but he had to go based on our performances on the pitch. He had lost it....... Is what I would have said to that dickhead before he blocked me.

@lssnorlax @TheForceFed @AlasdairGold Because Ange didn’t go into freefall in the league. He won the Europa but he had no answers in the league. Criticising managers tactics or individual players attitudes isn’t a vote for Levy/Joe Lewis useless kids.

@TelOdell @manxpie86 Was a damning admission of rape made public on Twitter with Remy? No. If you’re going to make comparisons then it’s Greenwood with the video and audio leaked. The clubs acted very differently. Arteta championed Partey for “all he was going through”…

@essexloko74 @MailSport Against all the odds? They’ve spent a billion £ on transfer under Arteta. Declan Rice red card was entirely correct. Skelly red card was reversed and had no impact. Havertz and Gabriel both escaped red cards. Gabriel dived when caught under the ball by Muani. Foul on Villa GK…

What a disgusting article. Man City had 1 red card and 2 pens not given, in just one game vs Brentford! Foden should been sent off. They were always given more time if they needed a goal or less if hanging on. Do your job properly, instead of working out your bias in some shitty piece of diatribe that is an excuse for journalism. You just can’t stand it that the Arsenal won the league - against all the odds. If anything this is the first season where the officiating has been somewhat fair. In the past we’ve been given red cards. (Rice) (Skelley) had goals disallowed, important one against title rivals (Havertz). Offside Lines (forgotten). What a disgraceful article. “Tainted season”? More like tainted journalist. Cry your bitter tears elsewhere.

How many incredibly bang-average, mid- or lower-table British teams winning the Europa League will it take before UEFA realise the currency is utterly devalued and just scrap it?

@DKingTelegraph Except that ball was in play and the VAR made an error. Just as they did with Bernardo Silva v Everton. KMI voted 5-0 one penalty as the holding continued after the kick.

To clarify this point: VAR would have awarded a penalty for Spurs last night but the officials were hamstrung because the ball wasn’t deemed to be in play when the offence was taking place, therefore they couldn’t do anything.
Dominic King@DKingTelegraph

So a player can be booked for making a foul in the penalty area, wrestling someone to the floor. But because the corner “hasn’t quite” been taken, it remains a foul and a booking - yet it isn’t a penalty, according to VAR. Make it make sense. The game is absurd now.
