The more I'm using multiple parallel agents (usually ~8-15) the more I'm running into GitHub API rate limits being a serious bottleneck - often causing all my agents having to wait for 45min+. One of many reasons why I'm planning to decouple from GitHub as it's not agent native.

Ex-Bluepoint tech lead Peter: Sony is pulling back on PC ports because Valve’s Steam Deck and the upcoming Steam Machines could offer console-like simplicity plus the full PC library. If PlayStation games launched day one on Steam, Valve could effectively win the “console war.”

Jason Schreier confirms PlayStation is done porting their first party single player games to PC. He says Ghost of Yotei and Saros were planned, but have been scrapped. - Possible reasons are poor sales and damage to the PlayStation brand. - 2nd party titles like Death Stranding 2 & Kena 2 have autonomy to choose. - Multiplayer games like Marvel Tokon and Marathon will remain multiplatform. @eboola22375 @xMBGx Any $400 you need to unnecessarily spend is “expensive”. Aka I pay $400 + 5* $65 to play exclusives I already have an overly capable system for that can play those games way beyond the experience that $400 gives me.

@steveco87037733 @xMBGx I mean the 1+year exclusivity was a real pita. I did however double buy horizon 1+2, TLOU 1+2, GoW 1+2, and Uncharted Collection. So they got their double moneys worth on me. Not to mention all the Resident Evil VR exclusives.

@dyergram @xMBGx Steam machine is awesome and caters to a similar user as ps and xbox. I’m not one of them, other than for some of the “exclusives”. I don’t care for the console wars, I just don’t want to be forced to buy (and sell) an extra device just for them.

Happy for those that like em but HZR HFW TLOUS GOW aren’t the reasons most people get a PS5 for they get it for fortnite, cod and GTA. Once GTA6 comes out PS5 will have 2 games. Astro bot and GTA6

@dhh @MichaelDell 235ppi is pretty good. Makes things slightly larger than we’re used to on MacBooks (254ppi), but it’s very close! Much better than 4K on 16” (too small). 2.8k 14”, 3.2k 16”, 4K 18”

Many thanks to @MichaelDell for having one of the new Panther Lake XPS 16 laptops sent over for Omarchy testing. There's a bit of work to do, but it's already very usable, and that tandem OLED is to die for 🤩

@dhh @maltewagenbach @slimbook For my use case (90% installed at kitchen table, with optical cables to my office, sometimes mobile use and otherwise desk use at family for work and gaming) I ended up with an 18” razer blade. Sadly no oled yet at this size :)

@maltewagenbach I really like the Asus G14 for the supreme OLED. But I've also spent some great time with the @slimbook executive and love the super light chassis with an incredible 99wh battery. Many good options now!

I really haven't thanked Apple enough for leading me to Linux. I mean that with zero irony and zero shade. This has been one of the top five quests of my career. And I'd never had pursued it if they hadn't turned into The Navy. Thank you, Captain Cook! 🙏

@dhh @Razer s2idle works okish, but suspend-then-hibernate, may leave you with blank screen on resume after hibernate.. It's sad, 18" 4k is a hidpi sweetspot, (like ~3.4k on 16" and 2.8k on 14", 5k on 27" and 6k on 32"). The Blade is light and compact compared to alternatives in it's class

@dhh @Razer I just unpacked the Blade 18, got all firmware, mcu and ec updates, but it reboots on resume from s3 sleep. So that’s sad..

Linux is so hawt right now! I should actually checkout the latest @Razer laptops. Would be nice to give it the same treatment as the Asus G14. Everything working out of the box.

@dhh @nicongdev @vaxryy You can still know where your windows are with static workspaces. But at the same time you can navigate them as a champ with niri.

@nicongdev I believe @vaxryy is actually working on this to become an option in Hyprland. I personally prefer knowing exactly where windows are, but I've seen this mode click well for others, so would be a great option.

Why would you get a Mac Mini for OpenClaw, and restrict yourself to a single agent? Get a @Beelinkofficial, setup Proxmox, and you'll be able to run a whole team of claws on a single cheap box! proxmox.com/en/
