@rubiconjay @elonmusk Before we can ever live in the moon, we will have to create an electromagnetic shield to divert solar winds. I wonder who is working on that? We don't hear much about it.

Is honkey still offensive to white people? On the Jeffersons they used it quite a bit.

@Purrymann113 The Bible doesn't try to convince you that God exists. He reveals who He is through the Bible.

Why do Muslims and christians provide scriptures when asked to provide evidence of God? Isn’t that more of evidence of a book instead of God?

@jimNjue_ We all are the reason Jesus gave His life for us. We were all in the crowd, and all are responsible. It was the will of the Father in His mercy and love for us that we are saved by what Christ did for us. Put your trust in the work of Christ alone.

🚨People need to read this and ask themselves one simple question… Last night a couple went out to dinner. Their bill came to $200. They left a $50 tip. That is 25%. Let that sink in for a second. Twenty five percent. But according to the waiter… that wasn’t enough. He looked at the $50 and refused to take it. Then told them if they weren’t willing to leave at least $85… they shouldn’t be eating out. Imagine sitting there with your spouse… trying to enjoy a night out… and being told your generosity isn’t good enough. Now pause for a second and think about the math. A $50 tip on a $200 bill. That is already higher than the traditional 15% that restaurants operated on for decades. It’s higher than 20%. It’s literally a quarter of the bill. And somehow we’ve arrived at a point where a server can reject a 25% tip and demand more. The comments under the story are fascinating. People saying 25% is more than fair. Others pointing out that tipping culture is completely out of control. Some saying they would have picked the $50 back up and walked out. Others saying leave a dollar. But here’s the real question… When did gratitude turn into entitlement? A tip is supposed to be a voluntary reward for good service. It is not a mandatory surcharge decided by the server after the fact. If a customer leaves 25% and the response is rejection and humiliation… what exactly are we doing here? This is why people are starting to push back. Because the moment generosity gets treated like an obligation… people stop wanting to give it. Curious what people think. If you had a $200 dinner bill and left a $50 tip… and the server told you it wasn’t enough… What would you do? Pick the $50 back up? Leave it and walk away? Or never go back? Let’s hear it. #TippingCulture #RestaurantStories #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

@drterrysimpson It was sold as many different things. It changed monthly. Very similar to the climate change narrative. Follows the same structure.

“The vaccine doesn’t prevent COVID.” Neither does a seatbelt prevent car crashes. It prevents you from dying in one. The COVID vaccines were never sold as magical force fields. They were designed to train the immune system to blunt severity. And they did — dramatically. I wish they were a magic shield but they were not When vaccination rates rose, hospitalization and death rates fell — even as cases surged with new variants. If the vaccines “did nothing,” the ICU curves would have moved in parallel between vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. They didn’t. Protection against infection waned as the virus mutated. That’s virology. Coronaviruses evolve. So do influenza viruses. That is not scandal; that is biology. Esp RNA virus biology But protection against severe disease held far better — and that is what determines whether hospitals overflow and morgues deploy refrigeration trucks. The absolutist framing — “it doesn’t prevent COVID” — is rhetorical sleight of hand. It confuses “not perfect” with “not effective.” Nothing in medicine is perfect. The question is not whether breakthrough infections occur. The question is whether you are less likely to end up intubated, hypoxic, or dead. The data answered that clearly. You may resent mandates. You may dislike pharmaceutical companies. But epidemiologic curves do not care about resentment. They care about outcomes. And the outcomes shifted.

@SteveCl58542482 @drterrysimpson The bottom-line is this: Not the vaccine nor the booster prevents covid 19 nor transmission.
