TVK Chief Vijay has to revamp his team asap.
In his nomination affidavit for Perambur constituency (Picture 1), Vijay declared that there were no criminal cases pending against him while in his affidavit for Trichy East Constituency, he has declared a pending case dated 2025 registered at Koodakovil Police Station, Madurai.
Vijay’s nomination in Perambur will be in trouble for not disclosing the said criminal case unless he files a fresh nomination affidavit adding the case.
Vijay has to crack his whip on his legal team, a Writ Petition in Madras HC seeking a direction to TN Police to disclose pending criminal cases against him across the State would have saved this embarrassment for the party and its leader.
If this is how they are handling the nomination papers of its Chief, what would be the fate of other candidates ?!

BIG: Parliament will be convened for 3 days between April 16 and 18 to pass women’s reservation bill amendments. The dates are just days before Tamil Nadu and West Bengal go to polls. Will opposition agree or insist that Parliament be convened only after elections are over on May 4? Do they have any choice since no one can be seen to be against women’s reservation? Are major decisions timed for narrative building with an eye on polls or to distract attention from more pressing issues like the impact of the West Asia war on the economy? Clearly this decision has been taken without consulting the opposition on suitable dates for all. Makes you wonder: Is Parliament only a NOTICE BOARD? Or are such questions not to be asked? SAB POLITICS HAI!🙏
