checking out Traders Fair next wk, browsing various trading platform sponsors (im guessing forex, futures are their bread n butter)
across multiple sponsors, the "crypto" offering tends to look like this 🥹 feels like a totally different universe
curbing expectations massively

I'm updating the Golden trio of onchain safety:
1) Own a hardware wallet, with the new clear signing framework, screen output will go from gibberish to human-readable.
2) Import your hw into @ambire, they cooked, I migrated to it and it's now the best wallet for the EVM experience, check their simulation.
3) create a @safe, even if 1/1 at first, use tenderly simulation.
Bonus: generate a hotwallet without any funds, make it a proposer on your safe and give the private key to your agent to generate the transactions and batchs for you, no more clicking buttons, no more clunky UIs, just prompt then verify simulations at each layer and sign at the end.
Voila, this setup makes you safe, 100x your crypto UX and makes unc Kim sad.

so hyperliquid trader make a directional bet, with full view of orderbook, limit orders...
then overlay a hedge on papertrade at opposite direction (no capital required), no funding cost, no slippage, get $PAPER if hedge position loses
delta neutral overlay on hyperliquid positions.

some tech stocks are truly insane to look at
- duolingo ($DUOL) is down -80% in the past year
- it actually beat Q1 earnings on both EPS and revenue
- the market cap is slightly below $5,000,000,000 which, if put on coingecko, would be around where $SUI is at right now
- they're projected to earn around a billion dollars in revenue this year
yet the chart looks like it wants to touch the core of the earth and come out the other side
other such cases

@dontbsalti would like to learn to read ladder, what tool is your screenshot here?
English

I’m going to be honest.
If I see someone talking about order flow but trading without ladder I dont trust them.
Here’s the thing about order flow — a lot of creators water it down into these heat maps/indicators because it’s easier for retail to digest. It’s a marketing tactic honestly.
The reality is, if they told you the truth— that you need to do price ladder drills and put in screen time to actually gain an edge, most of you would skip it. Period.
Everyone uses heat maps, and the “big trades” study, but institutions have sophisticated software, if you’re seeing the orders it’s because they want you to.
Aggressive buying/selling can only be read on the DOM imo. I.e. The rate they’re reloading, how fast price ticks back up after ticking down. How much resistance there is to move price 1-2 ticks. The delta can help but I don’t think it’s the best way to read aggression.
Same reason I dont pay attention that much to stacking and pulling; I.e at certain level you will see buyers reloading aggressively, then in a split second you will see the ask get pulled and price will yeet.
It’s great for confirmation, but if you’re focusing too much on it then sometimes you will miss the move or get faked out.
I’ve watched tons of YouTube videos, the Miltos videos have been some of the most helpful.

@R89Capital i feel like if i ever angeled, it'd be preceded by a firm handshake, a long deep gaze into the eyes and a hint of "i know where you live"
otherwise, pass
English

I angel invested like ~$500k into various Solana and Monad projects, a couple Bitcoin related ones.. Mostly during 2023 and early 2024..
Don't hear a peep from 99% of them.. On paper I'm up a couple million dollars, it's illiquid and I have no idea if and when I'll ever get an exit.
I have made so much more money investing in memecoins and liquid crypto coins..
Stay liquid, never angel invest in crypto it's a huge mistake

@newmichwill @yieldbasis will capacity for cbBTC and wBTC be increased or have additional pools?

What happens if BTC produces >2.3% yield though @yieldbasis

If $BTC price appreciates by just 2.3% annually, we can fund all our dividends indefinitely.

An important part of any exchange is order latency: how long it takes for an order to be accepted, placed, and reflected back to the trader. So I decided to build a dashboard to measure latency across popular perps dex venues.
It tracks post only, batch post only, taker confirmation times and also the taker round-trip cost, fees, and slippage.
Its open source and live here:
