The British electorate is completely fragmenting. Traditional party loyalty is dead, replaced by tactical voting, regional splits, and deep voter cynicism. If you’re still trying to align yourself with a legacy party brand based on headlines, you are playing an outdated game. The data shows a massive gap between public perception and reality: The 30% Ceiling: No single major party holds a firm grip on even a third of the electorate. The two-party monopoly has collapsed into volatile, shifting blocks. The Policy Disconnect: Polling constantly proves that when you strip the party branding away from actual manifesto text, voters routinely choose policies they claim to oppose. The Seat Squeeze: Minor percentage shifts are now triggering massive, unpredictable swings across the country, making traditional seat modeling useless. Stop guessing where you fit based on partisan spin. Find out exactly which political frameworks your views actually align with when you remove the logos and the noise. No bias, just the data. Test your real alignment here: whoshouldivoteforuk.co.uk

@RobertJenrick The implementation of this was utterly ridiculous, particularly under the Tories. It's embarrassing for the country, which should strive for success based on merit, not virtue, and not through signalling.

NEW: Reform are announcing an overhaul of ridiculous government contract rules to cut waste and back British jobs 🇬🇧 Under rules created by the Tories in 2012 and kept by Labour, companies must show how they: -create positive action programmes to promote diversity -work towards net zero emissions and influence their customers to do so too -develop ‘inclusive’ hiring practices -provide help with English language proficiency -raise awareness of modern slavery, including by running online campaigns and working with NGOs. And much, much more nonsense… These rules influence how hundreds of billions of pounds of YOUR money is spent. Since David Cameron’s Social Value Public Services Act was introduced in 2012, eyewatering amounts will have been wasted on nonsense that doesn’t benefit the British people. A Reform Government will scrap the social value test and focus on two things: -creating jobs and investment in Britain -delivering value for money for you, the taxpayer We will unashamedly back British firms, buying British wherever possible. And our plan to simplify procurement will cut out the distractions so that companies are focussed on the things that matter. This will make it a level playing field for smaller companies to compete against big corporations again. There will be plenty more reforms to come in this place from @danny__kruger as we ramp up our plan for government.

@robprogressive If you account for inflation-adjusted, then yes, the drop is this big, but nominally, no, that's incorrect. It's around 15 to 20% according to the Land Registry.

In Chelsea & Mayfair, house prices have dropped 30-50%

NO-ONE predicted this. No-one

Prime central areas have fallen back to 2017 levels A price rewind of a whole decade. With inflation, we are all the way back at 2008 real prices This means that now prime central London is affordable You can buy in the greatest capital in the world. You can make income & profit  A decade ago; impossible, Now, a REALITY  And the crash & falling prices have not finished yet, according to many billionaires & biggest global fund managers If you'd like to invest better & leverage the falling property prices click here: robmoore.live/sunday

The NHS needs major reforms. Leveraging AI and centralising (removing trusts) should streamline care delivery and contract management, leading to cost reductions. AI efficiency could enable hiring more doctors and nurses. This is, in my opinion, the only way the NHS can truly improve.

Wes Streeting has accused the NHS of a “cover-up culture” over the Nottingham maternity scandal. The former health secretary has demanded that NHS bosses who refused to give evidence about the scandal should be summoned before MPs ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/07/0…

@LeftieStats I don't foresee a landslide win. Based on recent trends, I predict a coalition of Labour, Lib Dems, and Greens. The right would only stand a chance if they managed to unite and tactically vote – something they often struggle with.

Andy Burnham enters Number 10 with a fragile mandate. His war on the Downing Street "boys' club" isn't progressive modernisation. It is a defensive shield. Making leaks against female cabinet ministers a sacking offence creates a perfect trap. It lets Burnham purge factional rivals under the guise of HR compliance. It also buys immediate survival. Senior female MPs have the numbers to paralyse his agenda before his first budget. This alignment blocks a backbench mutiny. Anonymous briefing drives Westminster rebellions. Outlawing it gives Number 10 total control to crush dissent without triggering an open party war. Leaks destroy weak leaders. Burnham isn't cleaning up the playground; he is disarming his enemies before the real fights over tax and spending begin.

Andy Burnham is considering exempting young people from paying income tax for the first three years of full-time employment so they can save money for a house. Would you support or oppose this?

@PippaCrerar @peterwalker99 @LexyTopping He realizes his options are severely limited. His plans hinge on further tax hikes, but if he doesn't implement them, the bond market will undermine his strategy, leaving him with little room to maneuver.

Calling the £1.15 trillion expenditure and steel nationalisation an "industrial strategy" is economically illiterate. Westminster is bloating the state balance sheet to buy out foreign corporate failure. Rushing this bill through the Lords to snatch British Steel from its Chinese owners is a panic move to save regional seats. It forces the UK taxpayer to become the buyer of last resort for uncompetitive industry. Private capital walked away for a reason. The state now inherits massive, unquantified environmental liabilities, pension deficits, and operational messes. After burning hundreds of millions under the 2025 Special Measures Act to keep Scunthorpe on life support, this nationalisation locks in a permanent cash drain. Politically, it is a desperate play to hold volatile working-class voters against right-wing insurgencies and independents. Ministers are trapped by their own national security rhetoric. They have surrendered all bargaining power, ensuring future budgets will bleed endlessly to underwrite industrial decay. There is no exit strategy.

There were 12 council by-elections yesterday. Reform won 3, Tories won 1 - 33% of seats up for election. Had tactical voting taken place, the result would have been very different. Reform would have won 6, Tories would have won 2 - 67% of seats up for election.
