Norway’s sovereign wealth fund has actual wealth, from savings. PM Carney’s proposed fund is being created entirely from borrowed money. Markets allocate capital more efficiently than governments. And if nation-building projects are commercially viable, private and pension capital (which Canada has A LOT of) it will fund them. If they’re not viable without government support, a sovereign fund doesn’t change the math on that, it just makes you responsible losses.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Stimulating growth with an hugely indebted economy while refusing to reduce red tape and cut taxes isn’t a thing. They cancel each other out.

BREAKING: Canada’s food inflation continued to be the worst in the G7 in March as overall inflation sees the biggest one-month jump in 13 months. We cannot solely blame global factors when Canada’s food prices are rising faster than all other G7 countries, which face the same factors. The Carney Liberals' money-printing deficits and high taxes have inflated everything and helped give Canada the worst household debt, the worst housing costs and the worst food inflation in the G7.  We don’t need another speech. We need results: bring down the cost of government to bring down the cost of living.

The Liberal Government of Canada has reduced the fuel tax temporarily to help combat the Republican caused gas spike. The Conservative government of Alberta has announce they will not do the same. The Carney Liberals did not win a majority government through a general election or today's by-elections. Instead, it was won through backroom deals with politicians who betrayed the people who voted for them. Liberals expect Canadians to give up, get complacent and go away, so Carney can have total power without any accountability. That will not happen. Our country and its people are worth fighting for. We will continue to fight for people to afford homes, food and fuel. We will continue to fight for safety in our streets. We will continue to fight for our resource workers and soldiers.
