Has the Auditor General confirmed the "Screams from the Rooftops" Yesterday, I asked if we should believe the Commissioner’s claim that “we don’t have a recruiting problem.” Today, the Auditor General of Canada released the report in the link below. I will put yesterday's post about Rhonda Blackmore in the comments. This isn't just a "problem" - it is a documented failure of leadership that confirms exactly what good experienced leaders like Rhonda have been trying to tell NHQ for years. Is the Commissioner out of touch with reality or just an arrogant liar? Yesterday, he preempted with "We don't have a recruiting problem." Twenty-four hours later, the Auditor General says that there is a shortage of 3,400 officers. 9 out of 11 divisions are in a "critical" vacancy state. The OAG specifically points out that the "Flexible Posting" (pre-posting) plan, a policy Rhonda and other COs warned would gut the Prairies, has caused "chronic vacancies" and created a "clear risk to operational capacity." Maybe people like Mike can't hear in Ottawa what boots-on-the-ground leaders like Rhonda say, way out there on the Prairies. The RCMP failed to meet its own processing standards for 97% of applications. If they can't even manage their own paperwork, how can they manage Canadians' safety? As I said yesterday: You don't "adopt" more people into a house that is that dysfunctional! The Commissioner is calling for "mercy" and "speed," How about humility and accountability? Is this another Zac moment where we will hear how hard it is to turn a ship so big, or will they start listening to those who do not want the ship sunk? Or is it too late? Is the ship already rotting on the bottom of the sea? lnkd.in/g9KrDCix

"This book is about the failure of Canada's political system on all sides... Especially, the entire system of justice. The obvious victims of the wrong system are the Canadian public."
Paul Derry@Paul_Derry

Have you ever been in litigation against our government or its agencies? Have you ever watched DARVO in full gear? Have you ever wondered why the Canadian government is failing? This is a bit of an odd book announcement, but here it is... I have decided to incorporate the writings of any past unfinished books of mine into one book. Why? One, to make sure the DOJ gets what they want, a copy of my writings, so that we can knock another delay off the docket. What is it about? This book is about the failure of Canada's political system on all sides. It is what the system looks like if the government stayed in its lane! It is also a testament to how the wrong system fails all its departments. Especially, the entire system of justice. The obvious victims of the wrong system are the Canadian public. This book is not only an indictment of the system, but a path away from it. I use a story from the bible to highlight many things, but the truth is blunt. It is not a book about God so much as a book about depravity. The depravity and darkness of a system lacking a moral compass. The depravity that allows a system to regulate and control everything in your life and call it freedom. When? To The Right of the Cross is being written right now! I hope to be done within the next 60 to 90 days and release shortly after. The first draft of the manuscript will go straight to the DOJ lawyers, then, unless truth and morality scare them, it will be released immediately after! They want the truth (they don't) - They can't handle the TRUTH! Stay tuned... paulderry.ca obscenereality.com

"This is true spirituality. Spirituality...means that Christ is the Lord of all your life and not just your religious life. And if you make a dichotomy in these things, you are denying your Lord His proper place. And I don't care how many butterflies you have in your stomach, you are poor spiritually." - Francis Schaeffer in 1982

One of the best visuals of the US vs Canada's military strength. I had no idea just how ill-equipped we really were. We should be incredibly thankful that they are our neighbors.

The Internet is not a reliable source for sound biblical doctrine. Only an absolute fool thinks he can gain theological expertise by digesting everything that is posted in open Internet forums and on social media. Exhibit A:
The Biblical Universalist@KJVGospel

After nearly 9 years, I’m still waiting for someone to refute the scriptural interpretations in my free universalism.ca book. So far, literally every Christian who read it carefully and got back to me told me they couldn’t refute it and that they’re now Universalists too.

Do you believe this statement from the RCMP Commissioner? “You’re right, we don’t have a recruiting problem,” Duheme said. I am not sure whether to laugh or cry when I read his statement. I am curious what Rhonda Blackmore would say about the issue? I wonder if they would bother to ask this highly respected officer about recruiting people into a force that stabs their own in the back? Do they use a ceremonial sword for their members' final coup de grâce? Oh, sorry, I forgot, that is actually a strike rooted in mercy! I suppose they sugarcoat the narrative enough to fake mercy. No, they make them fall on their own sword! Why in God's name would anyone join this force until it is torn down and rebuilt? All the King's horses and all the King's men....Do all they can to destroy the good and do the King's bidding!!! After my story, I will tell the story of Rhonda Blackmore, and I will scream it from the rooftops... If they can do what they have done to her, what do they do to lower ranks? If they can do that to the members, what will they do to the public? If the Commissioner is just a puppet, why would anyone want to serve him? Recruiting? Fix the mess you have before you bring in more people to hurt. When I came into Witness Protection, I realized my family was a mess. Years of living between the crime world and the RCMP directions left me seriously screwed up. Do you know what I did not think? Maybe we should adopt and bring more people into the mess! lnkd.in/gvEkSg2s

@RJordan1936 @AdemaJeff14413 Either would be successful with proper leadership, having a moral compass, caring for their members and the community; as opposed to egocentric arrogance focused on what benefits themselves rather than those priorities I just mentioned.

@Paul_Derry I thought seriously about joining the RCMP when I was a kid. When I learned I'd be deployed to Ft. Nowhere, 3000kms from my family, it made the choice clear. It's a job, family is the foundation of life. To join the mounties surrenders your life to service. Not super appealing.

@Paul_Derry @brianlilley This is intentional- just look at britain. First, they make it very unappealing to join the police. And then they bring in a bunch of people who are new to canada that don't share our values that will do the government's dirty work. This goes in very closely with the new laws.

@Paul_Derry @brianlilley Under Liberal Governments Cdn Institutions like the RCMP and CAF are held in disdain. This reminds me of why I left the CAF in anger in 1999. The leaders chosen by the Liberal government for these cornerstone Cdn Institutions are chosen to destroy them, not lead them. 👇

The @rcmpgrcpolice were once an iconic Canadian image around the World. They once were actually a Police Force. Now they’re an incompetent, complicit organ of the Liberal machine. What do they “investigate”? What “crimes” are brought to justice? WTF do they actually do? Serious?

Paul Derry, in most systems, the issue isn’t whether the signal exists; it’s whether it’s allowed to carry weight as it moves up the chain of command. When experienced leaders like Rhonda Blackmore are raising concerns and nothing changes, it becomes an issue of governance. That gap between what’s known within the rank and file and what’s accepted at NHQ is where this system has failed their own metrics for recruiting. The insights from Auditor General are nothing new to past and current members. It will however force NHQ to acknowledge what was already long understood internally. Commissioner Duheme may be well served to understand that a system isn’t defined by what it reports. It’s defined by what it’s willing to see.
