@NeoGameSpark I’ve been doing the economic blackout since July 1st and will forever. Turning off your PlayStation entirely shows them you not only won’t give them any money, but that you don’t even need them at all.

I’m all for folks doing what they gotta do to make an impact but you’d have to go for a full blackout with no cutoff to actually show these companies you mean business.
Just one random week ain’t gonna sway these companies.

@SonicLink125 This is the first organized blackout against Sony that I have seen. It is a way for people stuck with them to continue to pressure. Of course turning it off completely is ideal, but I am excited for actions like this because it absolutely brings change.

With all due respect, wouldn’t it be better if you didn’t have a time length & just did the blackout fully until Sony changes? One week to them is nothing, sadly & the fact that the ones joining here is a small group compared to all around the world.

🎭 Anonymous hacked PlayStation Servers and took them down in protest of Sony stating they will get rid of physical in 2028 and be digital only This then locked out many players from their accounts and Digital Games. Many couldn’t even play the new Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls. This once again proves how terrible Sony server security still is and how digital only future is risky with Sony.

Some will call what needs to be done here "pretentious", "pointless" or "performative", but the fight needs to continue every step of the way.
You don't need to purchase all things physical. Nobody is asking that of you. You should care about your rights as a consumer that less competition is bad for you. They're killing a whole market and pushing gaming further into a "country club hobby."
