Trump talking about hitting power plants, oil facilities, desalination systems. Saying he’d bring Iran “back to the Stone Age.” Calling for “Bridge Day.”
Even saying “the whole civilization will die tonight.”
And the point he’s making: this isn’t normal language for a head of state, especially not one sitting on the UN Security Council.
Because once you start talking like this publicly, it changes how everyone else calculates risk.
If you’re Iran, you don’t hear “pressure tactic.” You hear “this could go very far, very fast.”
So you prepare differently.
