When the market breaks, nobody will have 1 or 2 month protection. So it can be an epic meltdown.
This is the sort of instability that leads to a crash.
Point is there’s no floor beyond this short dated stuff. It is like a plastic dancefloor on the brink of collapsing.

Hey @AirCanada. Likely not your fault but absolutely ridiculous that people can bring a 60 lb family dog on a flight. Not fair to others who may be allergic and paid for their now shared seat. Same person.. pulls mask down and puts feet on the walls. (shes not visually impaired)

@FrankCurzio But is not house value part of the “wealth”? If so, then just because your house goes up in value and the ratio of credit card debt remains the same, you can only realize your real estate wealth if you sell it. Just ask my mom. Elderly, house worth a lot but very little income.

@Pdub1231 This post highlighted just one side of the balance sheet to support his thesis. When looking at the full picture… credit card debt (as a percentage of net household wealth) is inline with its historical average.

When you include the $250 trillion in household net worth consumers are sitting on… it makes this post pretty worthless.
