@jamesrbuk @charlesarthur Mine is 7. I don't follow him. (I don't use block or mute much.)
English

@PdyBkr Greeks put coins over the eyes. You haven't watched Kaos??
English

Just as an aside, the use of little crosses for the eyes of a drunk person is a brilliant piece of iconography. You know eyes don't actually do that. Yet somehow it transmits the idea of being drunk perfectly.
Mr Neutron is still tweeting@iansco

@charlesarthur I know it doesn't work like that, but his refusal to be interviewed by Andrew Neil on BBC TV ahead of the 2019 general election should be a bar to this interview taking place now.

@TonyCowards @Herring1967 Or 'Something Changed' by Pulp. "I wrote this song two hours before we met..."
English

@Herring1967 Yep. There a few “time travel” songs where it skips ahead fairly randomly.
Billy Bragg’s “New England” for example.
Why would he write a song aged 21 saying he was 22? It makes no sense.
English

Same issue with Sk8er boi. Also in UTJ he seems to think women give birth in an incubator.
Tony Cowards@TonyCowards
@Herring1967 The only thing I struggle with is when was the fictional character in “Up The Junction” supposed to have written the song? Did he write the first bit and then he writes part of it when his daughter is born then he wait two years to finish it? The timeline is all over the place!

@PeterMGilliver A bit like that famous American sporting event, the Superb Owl.
English

@MythR23 @BarclayCard18 And the controller of BBC2 in the early 70s, who had a hand in the decision, was David Attenborough! (I don't think this is a myth.)
English

@BarclayCard18 Tennis balls were originally white, not yellow. Today, tennis balls are predominantly yellow, but historically, they were white. The transition to yellow balls occurred in the early 1970s to make them more visible on color television broadcasts.
