Conor McGregor reacts to Ilia Topuria's loss to Justin Gaethje and discusses where the former champion goes from here:
"I knew that was going to happen to him. I've seen the training... You need to have it put on you in the gym.
He's a bit flat-footed. He has his areas. He's not fully complete, but he's good, and he can make inroads.
His face will have to heal, for sure. I'd say his face is smashed up.
He got banged up badly over the course of the fight, which caused him to quit. It's going to be a dark place for him right now. He's going to have to dig deep. Can he do it? I think he could. There'll be motivation to do it, and I wish him well."

.@elonmusk made Warren Buffett’s entire net worth in one day.
Peter Thiel predicted why Buffett’s logic was flawed 13 years ago:
“He’s become the richest man in America by avoiding technology.”
“Would you rather invest in a spaceship company going to Mars or a Mars candy bar?”
“And when people live on Mars, they’ll still be eating Mars candy bars. Spaceship companies will come and go, so you should only invest in candy bars.”

The two Ottoman sieges of Vienna in 1529 and 1683 left a lasting mark on the city’s history. Remnants of those battles, including old cannonballs known as Türkenkugeln (“Turkish cannonballs”), can still be seen embedded throughout Vienna’s historic city center today.
Vienna was besieged twice by Ottoman armies—first in 1529 under Suleiman the Magnificent and again in 1683—placing the city at the center of a centuries-long struggle between the Ottoman Empire and Christian Europe. The second siege was especially intense, lasting nearly two months as Ottoman forces bombarded the city walls and dug tunnels beneath Vienna’s defenses in an attempt to breach them.
Today, remnants of that conflict can still be seen throughout the city. Cannonballs known as Türkenkugeln (“Turkish balls”) remain embedded in several historic buildings, including St. Stephen’s Cathedral, serving as visible reminders of the 1683 siege. The battle came to an end on September 12, 1683, when a relief force led by Polish King John III Sobieski charged from the Vienna Woods and broke the Ottoman lines. The victory also featured one of the largest cavalry charges in history, led in part by the legendary Polish Winged Hussars.

Conor McGregor addresses the New York Times article surrounding the treatment he received during his recovery from the leg break he suffered at UFC 264:
"Shocking. A man's private medical [records]. The most devastating injury you'll see in combat sports. The whole thing is strange to me.
You have an injury like that... You're not going to walk again.
If a doctor is prescribing certain medications to help you come back, otherwise you're not going to walk again... There's like a 20% chance that leg doesn't join together again. It's called a non-union, where the bone doesn't heal. That's what's at stake here.
Whatever, I took myself out of the pool, listened to my doctors, and didn't ask questions. I don't need to know, and I don't want to know. All I want to know is what's going to get me back on my fucking feet and able to play with my children in a normal capacity again. That was it."

Why are people lying and saying the terrorists who were plotting to attack the White House were democrats? From what I have seen so far, they were Woke Reich religious fanatics who hated Jews, promoted Epstein conspiracy theories and believed AIPAC controls Trump.
In other words, they believed in everything you hear on your daily Megyn Kelly and Tucker Carlson episode.
It’s time for the GOP to stop blaming all of the violence on the left and to own the Nazis they have given a voice to by pandering for the anti-Jewish vote.
Violence exists on both sides.

J. R. Smith says depression led to his smoking addiction: “I don’t trust therapists”
“I'm addicted to smoking because of a lot of the depression and pain that I feel, and I don't know how to get out and express it”
“I've been to therapy. I don't trust therapists because a lot of them tell you what you want to hear. I've been around enough people to kiss my ass. I don't need that”
“I can stop drinking. I'm not a drinker. I've never really been.I'm really trying to understand the smoking because it's definitely an addiction”
“I smoke milds. I smoke weed. Shit, when I was playing in China and couldn't get weed, I was smoking cigarettes in the locker room. I'm a smoker”

Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Wahlberg hated each other before The Basketball Diaries (1995)
DiCaprio thought Wahlberg was too cocky and fought hard against casting him:
“Over my dead f*cking body. Marky Mark’s not going to be in this fing movie.”
Wahlberg later admitted he’d been “a bit of a d*ck” to Leo at a charity basketball game
“Leo was like, ‘This fking ahole is not going to be in this movie.’”
Then things got even worse.
Wahlberg showed up around 8 hours late to their first chemistry read, leaving an already-annoyed DiCaprio waiting.
Neither thought the other was right for the role.
But once filming started, everything changed.
The rivalry turned into mutual respect.
Sometimes the best chemistry starts with genuine hatred.

Mark Cuban admits the Mavericks completely misjudged Jalen Brunson before letting him walk to the Knicks
Ben Rogers: How did Jalen Brunson get away?
Mark Cuban: "It was really, really simple. We didn’t see JB, as what he would become"
"He showed that star potential when Luka got hurt, and he won those games against Utah for us but we were trying to get a star to put next to Luka, and JB’s star had not risen yet"
