I haven’t posted as there are others doing a good job, I’ve been thinking mainly. Israelis view apocalyptic scenarios as part of their nation building myths, but Iran has an unrelenting philosophy as well. We can destroy each other full stop, are we headed there?

No way! Israel, who clearly is not aligned with the operational objectives of the United States and instead wants a “failed state” and the total destruction of Iran, supports strikes against Iranian power plants which will ultimately result in the suffering of the Iranian people as well as mass attacks against, not Israel, but energy and desalination infrastructure in the Gulf States. What a surprise!

So the Israeli strikes did not actually target Iran’s main enrichment facility… Netanyahu is goading Iran into weaponizing its nuclear program. He wants to turn Iran into a pariah state. In other words, Israel’s attack was about preventing the future of a non-nuclear Iran.
