One of my childhood best friends felt a lump in her breast at 28, was told it was normal tissue. In spite of her begging for a mammo or US, docs refused to scan her bc she was young. By the time they did, it was stage 4, wrapped around her ribs. She died a few months later. You know your body. If something feels off, demand investigation. Raise all kinds of Hell if you must. It doesn’t matter if doctors find it annoying. You’ll never regret following your gut. It’s usually right.

Healthcare is so frustrating. My doctors office used to be amazing then got bought out by Penn Medicine and now it’s a nightmare. I called, waited over 2 hours for a call back missed the call and now will be waiting again, so I won’t be able to be seen for something acute.
