To tell everybody the truth, we were shit when Diogo was with us at the back end of title winning season last year, we’ve been shite since March 2025 scraping wins and that’s the truth and Diogo was in the squad and slot couldn’t figure it out.

no that’s how you think.. using Jota’s death and “mitigation” factors. You blamed Salah earlier in the season. You think having Wharton and pacy wingers will solve the problems when underlying data shows Slot has failed to improve/use the players.

@polobear_88 Or maybe they do remember it & don't want to go back to same level

I really hope there can be a sensible discussion about whether football moves away from VAR
It’s been a number of years now, these aren’t teething troubles anymore, this is an addition to the game that currently takes more away than it gives, with no prospect of that changing.
Yes, there’ll be more things missed, but things like spontaneity & flow contribute hugely to what makes football so great - the trade off, arguably, hasn’t been worth it.
We still get human error, and always will - it just takes a lot longer with VAR

@bazlastmanback But is it clear & obvious. No. Did the ref give it on pitch. No. It's an appalling decision

@talkSPORT Normally would hope they win but that celtic pen is an appalling decision

I’m surprised there are people who still think Arne will be sacked at this point.

[🟢] NEW: Liverpool have no plans to complete a summer review into Arne Slot's position at the club, with the Dutchman not under pressure to be sacked. [@JacobsBen]

Cool.
And he can coach a team with Luis Diaz on the wing, who Liverpool do not intend to sell according to Ornstein, with Zubimendi and Caicedo in midfield because those deals are a formality according to Ornstein, but they won't have Isak because Liverpool don't intend to bid for him again according to Ornstein.
Oh and they won't have Michael Edwards because he's not interested in returning to Liverpool according to Onstein.
And obviously won't be owned by FSG because they're selling the club, according to Ornstein.
The Anfield Buzz@TheAnfieldBuzz
Xabi Alonso is not under consideration at Liverpool at all and that Liverpool fully intend to go into next season with Arne Slot as their head coach. 🚨 [@David_Ornstein]
