@Ryan_Dumnonia @AndrewGold_ok @domjoly It's a bit like saying "you can't say X these days" - of course you can. I assume what he means is that being a centrist isn't ever good enough for the extremists. Even being slightly left or right isn't enough online.

@AndrewGold_ok @domjoly Brilliant interview, Dom admits he rebukes at commentary of flag shaggers etc and says you can’t be centrist online. Why not? Why do you say that can’t you state your opinion on SM but that you have to pick a side? How stupid to think that you can’t be….

@ExtremeFootbal4 I'd had a year of Andy Gray screaming "GOOOOAAAAALLL! What a great hit that was," during indoor games on Striker 96 (PS1).

The good old days when FIFA 97 introduced us to the unique thrill of indoor football! There was something special about the fast-paced, five-a-side action.

@Cartidise That S4 Zoom. 😂 So cool, but I doubt it did too well. Need this kind of innovation back though.

@LuthandoZibeko @anfieldforge The point is that it doesn't matter how good he is if he's so frequently injured that he's not playing. He notes Sturridge as an example: outrageous talent; too frequently unavailable. And it's one thing for an attacking player but a defensive line needs consistency.

@Pepski37 @anfieldforge Nah mate, sorry 🤣 This is a wayward opinion! Poor take. 1. How many right backs in the world are better than Canor at his age? Give me just 3. 2. Has the writer analysed the kind of injuries that the player has sustained and the recovery thereof?

This might be an unpopular opinion, but the first thing Liverpool need to do this summer is sell Conor Bradley. I love Conor Bradley. He is a great player with a great attitude and a Liverpool academy graduate, but unfortunately this is his third injury of the season after already missing eight matches. The bigger concern is the long term picture. This is now his seventh injury for Liverpool, having already missed 58 matches, and he is only 22. That is not bad luck, it is a pattern. My biggest pet peeve in football, especially at Liverpool, is the habit of holding on to injury prone players and hoping things will somehow change. They never do. I have never seen an injury prone player suddenly stop being injury prone. The smart move is to sell while their stock is high. We have seen this cycle far too many times. Daniel Sturridge, Naby Keïta, Joel Matip, Thiago and Oxlade-Chamberlain all ran their contracts down and left injured on a free. Joe Gomez is another injury prone player and I have no doubt he will eventually follow the same path. Look at Alexander Isak, a £120m injury prone talent who has struggled to stay fit and battled niggles since his transfer and is now out injured for months. Quality means nothing if you cannot rely on availability. Football is ruthless, and sentimentality costs clubs dearly.

@LuthandoZibeko @anfieldforge He is talking about real football, human football. He acknowledged it unlikely to be a popular opinion, because it sounds/feels harsh. But he's stripping back to the emotion to suggest a valid reason why a great talent may not have a long, reliable future with us.

@ethics13 @crackberrykevin @Captain2Phones @JeffGadway I hadn't considered that use case. 👌🏻 Tbf, it'll run Android 16 and nothing will stop people downloading TikTok, Instagram, and all the other doomscrolling apps. But hopefully the hidden message is: A near-square screen will kill the appeal.

@Felspawned @zylphe_renuis @RetroHandhelds It's madness. I'm new to the retro gaming world, but the general consensus is that having devices that can emulate *some* PS2 and GameCube for under $100 is mind-blowing. But some want the AYN Thor with high-end specs and huge storage to be super affordable. 😄

The AYN Thor Lite model is now available for pre-order from their website for $249. This has 8gb of ram, 128gb of storage, and a Snapdragon 865 chip inside. Do you think it's worth it for the price? rh-go.link/AYN-Thor-Lite (aff link)

@zylphe_renuis @RetroHandhelds $100 for that chipset and 8gb RAM? You must be out of your mind. 😂 That's comparable price-wise with the Mangmi Air X, which is in itself a bargain. Always skeptical of the clamshells for the hinge though. I'd think AYN would have decent build quality.

@RetroHandhelds Looks flimsy and that the hinge will wear down in mere weeks. Not promising for $250+ I'd say for $100 its fine.

Incredibly tempted to put a pre-order in for one of these. 🔥 Tech has gone so far, and now there's a natural pushback. Retro gaming is on the rise, the Pebble smart watches are back, and now a modern-day BlackBerry?!

“They treat his opinions and desires with more weight than they deserve” Carl then compared Steve to Greta Thunberg or Zack Polanski. Nationalists need a rule that we never undermine another nationalist like this. We must never echo Farage’s attacks on the “very online right”.
