I spoke to several Turning Point donors and close friends of Charlie who revealed that after Butler, there was a very real fear about his safety and the future of his organization. Charlie reassured them: He would leave Turning Point to Erika and the board to carry on the mission if the worst happened.

I am 100 percent convinced that Thomas Massie (@RepThomasMassie) had sex with an individual, hooked her up with a taxpayer-funded job, and then got her fired. The fact that Massie is denying these allegations on his campaign account and not his official congressional account shows how guilty he is. Members of Congress have more leeway with the ethics committee on their campaign accounts versus official ones, as the ethics rules state: “Members are free to maintain non-official social media accounts, such as campaign or personal accounts. Such accounts are not subject to House rules or regulations regarding official social media accounts.” Even if Massie somehow wins reelection, it’s likely he will be voted out of Congress because he violated the one rule that can’t be violated. It’s more likely that one year from now Massie is sitting in jail than in Congress.
