I can understand why Breslow didn't want Bregman back if he was actively preventing him from making the moves he wanted to. The problem is that it shouldn't get to that point. Something feels off. There should be some semblance of ability for the head executive to read the room, but why would the chain of command even be functioning like this to begin with? Why would Bregman have more power than the PBO?

According to @TheAthletic, Alex Bregman was a constant and outspoken advocate of newly fired hitting coaches Fatse, Lawson, and Cronin. He credited them with helping him return to All-Star form. One version of events was that Breslow was going to fire some coaches last year until Bregman stopped it. Others stop short of that version of events but agree his outspoken advocacy was well known.

I can’t believe the brutality I just witnessed at Fenway Park while Cam Schlittler tried to warm up on the field. There are no words. I just hope he’s okay. Shame on security for not holding back these animals. Boston, we are better than this. Awful.

I just wanted to throw this out there about the Jarren Duran middle finger thing. I don’t understand why more people aren’t more upset about what the fan said than they are about him simply throwing a middle finger up. That would upset most people given the circumstances.
