Boomers don't want to hear this, but one of the (many) reasons why my generation isn't having as many kids? A lot of millennials feel they can't depend on their parents for help the way they saw their own grandparents pitch in when they were growing up

@TheLaurenChen And studies like old folks home for 4 years olds (small study) show substantial health benefits for the elderly. So boomers don’t have to change. They will be looking out for number 1 while looking out for the little one

@TheLaurenChen My eldest daughter is 18. When she is ready my wife and I are that keen that she better watch out we don’t adopt them. We are Gen X and frankly surprised by boomers that weren’t working full time lack of enthusiasm to baby sit. Like pulling teeth.
