@CountBinface @Jane_Samuels He speaks for the unheard masses of the UK, who are unheard, who don’t have GB News who are unheard and in the minority of the majority. He speaks for real people who are supported by the sock puppet accounts. He’s a real one who isn’t real. G’wan Nigel.

Repost if you’d like to see the return of traditional British values. Things like tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. Politeness. A sense of fair play. Mutual respect. Humour and wit. Kindness and generosity. Fairness. Sportsmanship. Anti-fascism. Inclusivity.

As I sit waiting for yet another delayed #britishairways flight … I ruminate ….as a large proportion of the flights I take with this , entitled legacy airline are delayed for technical faults on the plane .. Is their fleet in a terrible condition, compared to other airlines who don’t have the same amount of faults .. I know I know, fly another carrier

£30 cap on away tickets to continue for two more seasons, excellent news for supporters and for broadcasters wanting noisier atmospheres. Kudos to the Premier League for agreeing to extension. Fans now want clubs to listen to them over home ticket prices which “are often unaffordable and pricing out loyal fans”. "The extension of the away cap is great news for travelling top-flight fans,” says Tom Greatrex, chair of the Football Supporters' Association. “The cap was an FSA idea which wouldn't have happened without our members' campaign work. Credit to the Premier League and clubs for listening to supporters on the importance of away supporters and keeping the cap in place for the previous 12 seasons. Long may it continue. "We all know how much away fans add to the atmosphere in our stadiums and anything which helps them is welcome. Over the past 12 years this has saved supporters millions of pounds in total. We'd also encourage owners to listen to the voices of supporters' groups at their clubs who are telling them that home ticket prices are often unaffordable and are pricing out loyal fans."

You think you have a great life?? Well I assumed I had a great life.. But you really never know? That was mine before I met Lise, and a blind date in New Hampshire changed my life and almost 25 years later, just an extraordinary journey. I was 39 yrs old. I simply had no idea..

@PeterBone1 @MattyJPerry Now, actually, I'd probably rather move on from Molumby, and hope we do should we get a reasonable offer for him.

@DickLaurent96 @MattyJPerry Sure, I get that, but we’ll have to see what happens in the summer, and what league we are in. I think activating the extra year for OD just increases the club’s options a bit, and makes it possible to sell him for a fee this summer.

@PeterBone1 @MattyJPerry My concern about this Pete isn't so much keeping Diakite and looking to reward him for recent performances, more the prospect of going into next season with a midfield duo of Molumby and OD. Ideal for the current relegation scrap maybe, but we know all too well their limitations.

@MattyJPerry @Michaelwh24 I don’t think it’s such a bad move - it also means we can move him on for a fee in the summer rather than letting him go for nothing.

I'm bemused as to why the soft left think it helps their cause - particularly in an NEC ballot that is STV not FPTP - to formally ally with the toxic and discredited rump of the Corbyn era Hard Left.

@LindseyGrahamSC @POTUS Arrogance of your allies? The arrogance of starting an illegal war, without consulting anyone, then of insulting and defaming the same allies, far outweighs the frankly incredibly considerate responses of other members of NATO. Shame on you. What you sow, you shall reap.

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.

When it is argued, in various football disputes, that points deductions must be imposed even for inadvertent breaches, in order to vindicate compliant clubs, one has to wonder whether that reflects a genuine commitment to consistent strict enforcement in all cases, or is simply a position adopted for the purposes of a particular case. Consistency is very important in sport - the lack of it can undermine public confidence in the integrity of the whole game. I do not comment on any one individual case, I just hope that those involved in the decision making processes can see the merit in treating each case according to its particular circumstances rather than being inflexible in some, but very flexible in others. That, I am sure, would help restore the confidence in sports arbitration we all wish for.

@PGrundberge @AndyfromNewHamp That’s right. We lost one key element of our fantastic attacking play after that. Ronnie Rees wasn’t half the player Clark was.

@AndyfromNewHamp I can remember seeing him as I was growing up in the 60s: socks rolled down, shirt out, thinking this way and that. Unstoppable on his day. Scored two fabulous individual goals against Fulham in a 6-2 win in about 1967 (from memory - may have been a different year).
