He was a darling of the anti-Trump movement. Now Eric Swalwell’s rapid downfall is raising questions about what powerful Democrats knew and when. on.wsj.com/41KFj0m

@RossBrian30643 @Genetics56 Good list
North Carolina might be the most important growth state for BIG, But not Duke. UNC is the Big Ten fit.
UNC is A Flagship AAU top 5 public research university
UNC
Ga Tech
FSU
Miami
Texas A&M
Then. Add 2of 6 out West :
Berkeley or Stanford
Utah or BYU
ASU or UA
English

@Genetics56 If the big10 goes to 24 schools it will add these 5 for sure
Miami
ND
FSU
Cal
Stanford
#6 would be either
UNC,Duke,GA Tech or Virginia

My top 8 (in no order)....my focus is gaining a new geograhic region and then adding the rich partners for NIL.
assuming no SEC school.
BYU
Florida State
Miami
Arizona State or Cal
SMU
UNC
UVA
For the 8th - holding spot for Clem, Cal, Stan, or Pitt, someone else.

@Genetics56 I agree GENETICS. (Who would you put at number seven? How does Big Ten improve travel? Stanford, Cal, Arizona, or Utah? Secondly, what would be your top eight candidates for Big Ten membership? Do you think the huge increase in BIG research revenue can lure Florida and TA&M?
English

@RossBrian30643 @Genetics56 Wow, that’s a big list,
but a very good list if we get to 24
If we’re going have 24 team playoff and basically three conferences, this actually makes sense .
All are good research AAU.
I might also consider a Texas school like Texas A&M or SMU?
I might consider GA Tech?
English

@Genetics56 Future Big 10 divisions

@Genetics56 As a Miami fan! For the live of God get us out of the ACC!! But bring FSU... I hate them, but a rival. Big Ten could strangle hold Florida with that move.

Foreclosures were forbidden by law during Covid, and then a number of absurdly lenient and generous mortgage workout programs were put in place for the rest of the Biden regime. Those programs finally sunset in October 2025. This is 5 years of mortgage default catching up to reality, same as when the Covid student loan relief programs finally sunset.

🚨HOLLYWOOD HAS-BEEN ROBERT DE NIRO JUST TURNED ON HIS OWN SOCIALIST GOD ZOHRAN MAMDANI AND WENT FULL RAGE MODE — THE “SECOND HOME WEALTH TAX” IS THE FINAL STRAW THAT BROKE THE WOKE CAMEL’S BACK!
Follow @UnmaskTheSys
The raging leftist who spent years screaming “Trump is a threat to democracy” just got absolutely gut-punched by the very communist policies he cheered for.
“He lied to all of us,” De Niro unloaded.
“He said he was going after billionaires. I’m not a billionaire. I’m not even close. I use that second home for income to help pay my bills like a lot of New Yorkers.
It’s already too expensive to live here.”Then the killer blow: “Instead, if you have a little nest egg, you’re a criminal, and it just got worse.”
More than HALF of New York homeowners are now getting fucked by Mamdani’s “tax the wealthy” scam — even the fake-tough Hollywood millionaires who thought they were safe.
The socialist utopia De Niro helped vote in is eating its own. Even the most unhinged Trump-hating celebrities are waking up to the nightmare.
Share this everywhere if you’re loving watching the radical left devour itself!

@BuckeyevsTworld I can’t disagree with this list. My only question might be Nebraska and Notre Dane ?
Both deserve to be Blue Bloods. But Both have been off the past two decades?
I might keep Nebraska due to great fans, and huge upside being in the new Big Ten and include Notre Dame?
English

Being really generous with the term blue bloods here.
There are 8 blue bloods:
Alabama
Ohio State
Oklahoma
Nebraska
Texas
USC
Notre Dame
Michigan

@TheFOTP @Genetics56 But they have a huge fan base National following good academics. I realize they were religious institution, but would you take Utah Arizona state or Cal Berkeley over BYU?
English

@Genetics56 BYU no shot at B1G membership for a variety of reasons... They spent decades trying to get into the Pac-10. Never happened.
English

@Genetics56 GENETICS,
based on your clever BIG list you sent me,
Here is my list with Notre Dame and without…
With Notre Dame:
2 BIG western additions:
Stanford
BYU
Southern BIG additions:
UNC
FSU
Miami
GA Tech
Texas A&M
Without ND:
Cal
BYU
UNC
Texas A&M
FSU
Miami
English

@DarikHanback @Genetics56 I agree. If ND joins Big Ten,
Then It’s Stanford over Cal or ASU, on 2 western additions. Then I take UNC FSU, and GA Tech, ( or UVA) and call it a day
English

@Genetics56 No ND than either? If Stanford goes i believe it will be because ND goes as well. Could be wrong.
English

@Genetics56 Hey GENETICS
I THINK this is an interesting plausible BIG list.
It touches ideal geographic, recruiting, growing areas.
Wd add 2 Western schools for travel. (BYU is mountain zone, is rich , has big fan base) and Stanford or ASU also work. You add Texas, NC, and Florida.👍
