Way beyond acceptable - @GlobalHealthAct we have a clear policy of rejecting field studies that do not include national scientists and institutions. Time this became normal in scientific publishing.

@PeterByass I haven’t grasped the need either. My institution @UniIbadan has a fabulous Public Health Faculty I’m privileged to collaborate with. Their alumni staff my infect dis projects with amazing competence. I can’t see a need for an overpriced #GlobalHealth program here.

I know PhDs, MScs, MPHs but I’m struggling to name a grad of these MGlobalHealth programs that holds an acad position in Africa...& yet we live on. I’m sure some exist outside my ⭕️ but my struggle, & this paper, reinforces my opinion that #GlobalHealth isn’t a real discipline.
