There is nothing wrong with it helping families who pay property taxes like everyone else but choose to send their kids to private schools.
To a point.
However, this cannot just be something that is done to help give relief to people, it also has to help people seek bette educational outcomes for their kids.

Proof it does not help kids escape bad schools. It subsidizes current private school kids.

I think that the Bottoms campaign will likely need to focus like a laser on white voters w/ no college degree who live in Metro ATL. It will be an uphill battle either way but she has to get more than 17% of that vote(what Abrams got in 2022).

Every year, I share this video of French caretakers who take sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, and scrub them into the letters to give them the gold coloring.
They do this for all 9,386 US soldiers who died.

I find it odd that John Elway has 0 first team All-Pro selections. People will gaslight you and tell you he was some top 5 QB OAT when he was arguably not even top 5 in his era most of his career.
His legacy was a inflated when he won back to back Super Bowls off Terrell Davis’ legs (7 straight post season games over 100 yds) a Rod Smith 80 yd house call that was under-thrown, and 4 turnovers from his defense gifting him his SB MVP.

I never ceases to amaze me that some Dems just don’t have the spine or resolve to battle Republicans. They can be very naive like Spanberger. They seem to not have it in them for the knife fight required to beat Republicans. Never ready to do battle. Always afraid. Always weak.

If you put it into an S&P index fund instead, you would receive $32,583 per month.

It would not shock me if this were true.
These SEC schools have nothing to do with the legislation foolishly being passed in their state, and Ohio isn’t exactly without issues surrounding gerrymandering.
(Ohio State is one of the most viable alternatives for players boycotting these schools)
If the SEC could influence the legislation that would be one thing, but I doubt they can change much of anything.

If some of the SEC schools agreed to cut a significant check to the NAACP and call it the “Reimagine A New South” fund or some crap like that I bet the NAACP would call this boycott off with the quickness💰🤣.

I don't believe the priority for NAACP is hurting states in the south economically or to convince students to not attend SEC schools. I believe this is a way to create pressure behind the scenes to raise funds and donations for the org. Nothing else makes sense to me.

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half.
Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.
